I'm often somewhat weary when I see a menu that has many different items and from an eclectic mix of cuisines but the main focus is on pan Western Cuisine. I would automatically judge that the prices are slightly dear but this is my judgement on my part as the prices you pay are no different than to any establishment on Hong Kong side in Soho etc. However, the dishes are executed well. The Risotto was done nicely. It had that slightly sharp umami burn you would expect from using generous amounts

It was cooked al dente and was not stodgy. Executed well and the portion size was deceptively decent as the bowl is quite deep. More than enough to share between two people.
The other dish we ordered was the Pork Knuckle. The knuckle was brined so the meat was soft and the skin crispy. Served with a small portion of sauerkraut and mash potato. I do like places that start serving balsamic glaze in their salads - I am seeing more and more places doing this as a simple balsamic glaze always makes any salad immediately tasty.
Clearly they have an eye for families as they have a selection of Children's only menu items. It's a good place to go with a family or even a relax date night where you want to focus on the quality of the conversation paired with simple no fuss food executed well.
The environment is relaxed and cosy as you would expect from any family neighbourhood environment. A bit heavy on the black interior but the place is clean. The only downside is that the toilet is not within the restaurant as with pretty much all the eateries in Whampoa.
