Jade Garden is awesome. I went there for dim sum a couple weeks ago, and it was the best dim sum I've had since coming here (though I've only been here 6 weeks, so take that with a grain of salt). My wife and I decided to have dinner here recently. Here's what we ordered: deep fried duck with mashed taro, shrimp spring rolls, and fried rice with seafood in hotpot (a house specialty).Deep fried duck with mashed taro: so what this was was boneless (hooray!) pieces of duck meat surrounded in mashed

Deep fried duck with mashed taro: so what this was was boneless (hooray!) pieces of duck meat surrounded in mashed taro, all deep fried until the outside was crispy and the inside was warm and taro-y. Bad for your health, but really great comfort food. 8/10
Shrimp spring rolls: just what the name says. The spring rolls were very long and thin and were presented in an attractive glass vase with some long cuts of veggies (carrots, spring onion). Good for what they were, but difficult to make spring rolls that really blow you away. 7/10.
Fried rice in hotpot: nothing too exciting, but it was very good. The seafood was scallops. 7/10
I had really good dim sum for lunch here, and now I've had a really good dinner. Overall, I give the place an 8/10 and recommend it if you're looking for Cantonese in the area.
