Hoping to have a relaxing Sunday breakfast, but slowly my blood started boiling with the food and service of this branch.Attracted by the lovely quality and service of Phi Go Park, tried the Tai Koo branch. 1. 1. Wait outside - this is fine we were ushered to walk back out and wait. The waiter politely apologised that there’s no larger tables - that’s very kind.
2. Order Taken - done very quickly, impressed that the waiter didn’t need to write anything down.
3. Coffee 1 arrived - wrong order. Made eye contact with two waiters who acknowledged me but didn’t attend to me. I finally took the coffee up to the bar to let them know it’s wrong hoping to help understanding they were short staffed.
4. Second coffee arrived - wrong order. Asked the male waiter to check my whole order in case it’s wrong….no action taken.
5. Breakfast arrived - all good…till I suspected the soufflé was not properly cooked. The customer at the next table who I didn’t know told me not to eat it as hers in comparison was cooked through. Asked the waiter to take a look. He took my unfinished plate to the kitchen.
6. Breakfast 2 arrived. All good.
7. Waiter came back “Yes I confirm with the kitchen and they said, yes it’s not cooked fully..” and then he walked away. Apology? Next steps???? Nothing.
8. Still waiting for coffee number 2, which we said just out in a takeaway mug.
9. Paid and left. I shared that I won’t be back and offered some kind, fundamental advice on good customer service. Phi suggest you hire more people here and to give better CS training!! Shame one experience has tarnished my image of Phi.
