Finally visited this stunning Italian cafe in Stanley! The place was absolutely beautiful😍, with its ceiling, drappy curtains and pale pink walls. 💭 Hands down the best pizza I have had in a while. I loved the pizza base, the edges are so toasty and crispy yet the entire pizza dough is super soft, airy and fluffy!! Absolutely incredible😍 A classic combination of tomato sauce, basil and a super generous amount of buffalo mozzarella, each mouthful was truly heavenly! Would love to revisit to try other flavours!

🥪 Focaccia Sandwich - Capricciosa HKD 88
💭Their focaccia was so good! Warm and toasty yet it still retained its soft, fluffy texture. They were very generous with the fillings too, and the flavour combo was delicious! With a huge pile of cooked ham, semi-dry tomato, oregano, artichoke and buffalo mozzarella (there were olives too which I just personally did not like, but here were only a few, so it was super easy to pick them out), each mouthful was super satisfying! Would love to try their other combos next!

💭Of course, we had to try their baked goods! Opted for their Chocolate Gianduja Croissant which was filled with gianduja, a chocolate spread containing about 30% hazelnut spread. Their croissant had quite a strong butter flavour, with a mildly chewy texture (neither the super light flaky kind nor the super chewy kind). I did find the exterior glaze a tad too sweet though and the chocolate flavour wasn’t as intense/dark as I was expecting. Still, a nice sweet treat on the whole and would love to try their bomboloni next!

We got there at around 12pm on a weekday and there was no queue at the time. Despite it being a weekday, the queue started forming at around 12:30pm, so do expect a queue if you are to visit on a weekend.
