I made the reservation through OpenRice and remarked that it was to celebrate Mother's Day. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very smiley waitress who lead us to the table, followed by a very experienced gentleman who served our food and wine for the evening. We ordered three set dinners, one main dish on its own then two sides to share between the five of us. The set dinner came with an appetizer each, a soup, a main dish and a tea or coffee. Even though we only ordered three sets, the waiter still served all of us with a soup each, which I thought was very sweet, I'm pretty sure not many restaurants will be willing to do that. The appetizers and the main courses were all nicely designed and cooked. We ordered the steak and the pumpkin risotto from the set dinner menu and they were my two favourite dishes.
The lovely surprise came towards the end when we ordered a dessert! We had a NY cheesecake and an apple crumble, my mum was surprised when the waiter delivered the beautiful plate of dessert in front of her and wished a Happy Mother's Day, she sure was happy! The plate looked stunning as well as the dessert itself
