My family and relatives came here after the Milon opening event at Wanchai's Exhibition Centre, and obviously we very famish after all the wine tasting. We opened 2 bottles of white and a champagne to go with the food because it had it free corkage, and everyone began dinner with a cheery and energetic note. This was the panfried pig liver and even though I really don't favor the inards of animals, I tasted it anyway. The texture was soft and mushy but the flavor was rich and powerful. If you like pig livers to start with, this would be a tasty dish.

I love tofu, especially Pei Pa Tofu. Its a mixture of tofu with veggies and spices, deepfried into tofu cakes. I absolutely adore this dish because it's not too salty, but the thick melting sauce added just enough flavor to make it scrumptious.

The lotus leave rice was not bad. Faint scent of the lotus leave with the fried rice made it a very appealing dish when you're hungry.

The fillet with broccoli was a light veggie dish and since I like fish without bones, I devoured a lot of this. Even though the fish fillets weren't fresh, but the flavor was there and it was a nice refreshing dish after all the fried foods

My favorite dish out of the whole night! The lotus root cake was crunchy and it smelled amazing! I had 2 pieces and I couldn't stop to help myself with a third. This is a must-try if you haven't already

The steamed razer clams was very sweet and fresh. This classic dish is always nice when the ingredient itself is nice.

Saving the best for last, the duck is this restaurant's famous dish. Delicately made, the duck is stuffed with assorted rice, beans and spices, and then fried and braised to make the duck meat perfectly tender and juicy. The bones have already been taken out as well, hence its a mouthful of yummy goodness at every bite--love it!


Overall, a great restaurant to dine in with family and friends--the more the merrier type dining experience--especially when you can order a lot of different dishes to try. Great place to take photos as well because the interior design and atmosphere still maintained the 80's vintage style decorations.
