We passed through Bo-Lo'gne yesterday and find its desserts are very attractive, read all comments are good on desserts but OK for spaghetti and drinks, we decided to go for dessert lunch originally. 7 of us didn’t make any reservation, we were seating outside, under a clear but not sun-shine day, a very European atmosphere restaurant but owned by Japanese and serve Japanese style Italian cuisine, bread and spaghetti. 7 of us didn’t make any reservation, we were seating outside, under a clear but not sun-shine day, a very European atmosphere restaurant but owned by Japanese and serve Japanese style Italian cuisine, bread and spaghetti. Finally, we have ordered set of Cabonara spaghetti, Napolitian spaghetti (Japanese style), Seasonal spaghetti (with mushroom), Banana chocolate toast (add $10 to have green tea latte), French toast and 2 set lunch (Seafood curry - fish and prawn), plus 1 additional set lunch in the middle of the meals.
All spaghetti served with a toast. The toast is warm to hot, good texture and delicious. Spaghetti without heavy pepper flavor, not as commented previously by others. The chef might read the comments and amend the recipe.
French toast, as others said, the egg is good but it makes the French toast wet and soft, not able to chew the good texture of bread (thousand layers), however, it tastes not bad, honey is too sweet to me only.
Banana chocolate, excellent, we all love it. The set tea, we changed to Green Tea Latte, with additional $10, comments good.
If you are expecting to have freshly brewed coffee from espresso machine, you will be disappointed. They serve Japanese brewed coffee, not very strong, but taste acceptable.
Last but not the least, the set lunch, Seafood curry cutlet with a salad starter is exceptionally excellent. I have ordered an additional set other than French toast set. The fish and prawn cutlet is fresh and freshly deep-fried, the curry is traditional Japanese style, spicy but sweet. The rice is authentic Japanese Pearl rice, very sticky and chewy sweet. We all are happy to have a good lunch at this country side feeling restaurant as we were enjoying our holiday in Europe.
Before we left, we bought the loaf and pieces of bread.
