The consistency in the food preparation and presentation at this place evens out with the inconsistency in the quality of service and attitude of the staff. The first time we ate there it was close to culinary perfection (well, as much perfection as you can get for around 250 a head), the second time whilst the food was still commendable the service was pushy and patronising, and then it was all down hill from there. The consistency in the food preparation and presentation at this place evens out with the inconsistency in the quality of service and attitude of the staff. The first time we ate there it was close to culinary perfection (well, as much perfection as you can get for around 250 a head), the second time whilst the food was still commendable the service was pushy and patronising, and then it was all down hill from there. Given the lack of quality sichuan dining experiences in hong kong, you might invariably find yourself there from time to time -- savour the food not the service.

ps - yes, the dan-dan noodle was bad, the aubergine was overpriced, but stick to the prawns and beef.
