It is such a hot afternoon. It is best to enjoy a Thai lunch at Sun Thai Restaurant, my favourite Thai restaurant at Wanchai. Though it is Sunday, the restaurant provides various value for money lunch sets at $75 each only. To cater for family/social gatherings, there are also nice set menus for two persons ($228) and four persons ($468). As I do not need to rush today, I decide to order two signature dishes from the main menu and enjoy a relaxed lunch there.Minced fish spicy salad with Thai

As I do not need to rush today, I decide to order two signature dishes from the main menu and enjoy a relaxed lunch there.
Minced fish spicy salad with Thai herbs ($138) is highly recommended. Fish is diced and fried upon order. The diced sea bass, together with the fried peanuts, lime, onion, ginger, chili pepper, dried coconut, etc, wrapped in fresh and crispy lettuce is super yummy and full of texture. It is spicy, sweet and sour. The dish is so nice and authentic, reminding me of my happy vacations in Thailand.
Lemongrass rice stuffed in grilled spring chicken ($188) is delicious. Chicken is juicy, meaty and full of flavour. Lemongrass rice tastes and smells good. It is very good and worth the wait. The salad is appetising and fresh. A must try!
Young coconut smoothie ($58) is so good. It enhances my enjoyment of this lunch. It tastes natural, healthy and not too sweet.
The restaurant provides a relaxed and cosy environment. Service is great. It is an ideal place for gathering with your friends and family.
