It was my second visit to D Corner in Yau Tong since it opened last year. It was pretty quiet when I arrive at 8.00 on a Sunday night, maybe it was just after Christmas......I had very good impression about this restaurant, so didn't hesitate to give a try again. It was pretty quiet when I arrive at 8.00 on a Sunday night, maybe it was just after Christmas......I had very good impression about this restaurant, so didn't hesitate to give a try again. My friend and I have ordered set dinner which was around $188 with four courses, my starter was a fresh green salad which was just fresh and tasty; second course - mushroom soup was made with freshly grinded mushroom and rich cream, very yummy!!! Main course I have chosen duck confit risotto - the waitress professionally asked whether I liked it in HONG KONG WAY ( which is well done like Chinese rice ) OR authentic Al Dente Italian style. They know preference of many customers especially in local residential area like Yau Tong.
My friend ordered additional starter which was a shrimp cocktail on toast, and main course was a pork filet. He said both were just great.
Food was great, service was good, and price was amazingly reasonable for the quality, D Corner deserves better! I hope it could sustain to provide a good alternative for diners in Yau Tong.
