We arrived at 7ish on a Friday night, luckily we didn’t have to wait and got seated right away.Tonight, we ordered two dishes to share:We chose the pasta Caserecce ai Gamberi $158This was way too expensive when the dish is such taste! It was very salty. I usually like kale but the kale here was cooked like it was marinated vegetables. However, the pasta itself was good and I liked its chewy texture.
(something to mention, I told the waitress that I didn't want meat for my pasta choice, and she recommended this... "there's not meat, it's shrimp" clearly there's pork in it!?)
We were sharing for two people, so the pizza is good enough for three slices each, but it doesn’t taste good at all, so I didn’t eat much.. even though I was indeed quite hungry.
The tomato base used a thick tomato sauce and is quite sour, but that is fine and also enhanced my appetite a bit.
The toppings are nothing special, and the pizza crust is too floury and not hot enough. I prefer pizza that is freshly baked and taken out of the oven.
Their tiramisu is classic enough, with the right amount of coffee flavor, which is the most important for a tiramisu. It isn’t too sweet, and the cake texture is just as soft and creamy as I expected a tiramisu to be.
It isn’t cheap, but it’s of quality. (I made a “hmmmmmm yummmmm” remark on every spoon!)
