Among various branches located in Hong Kong, the Classified in Tai Hang doesn’t draw as much attention as its siblings, likely diners get distracted by other popular eateries in the district. Having said that, it turns out to be an ideal place when you are just looking for a cozy place for a chat or wine.
In one weekday late afternoon just before it began to rain, I lazed myself here. At reasonable price, they offer afternoon tea set with a piece of pastry and beverage.Much affected by the moody weather, I craved for chocolate, thus I pampered myself with both cakes and drinks made with cocoa.
a) Devil’s Food Cake – 7.8/10
I could choose among cakes, muffins or croissants but this chocolate fudge cake drew my attention. However, on the first bite, it didn’t tasted as “dark” as it looked. Glad that it was quite moist and not over-sweetened.b) Mocha – 8/10
With a smooth texture, this mocha was rich and tasted like dark chocolate.06.2013
