I always wanted to go to Infinity C. But it seemed every time I walked by, it was always packed or a line of people waiting to go in. They are so popular, they have opened three locations in Hong Kong, two alone in Western District. I guess I got lucky! There was room! They had a cake display and that was what I wanted. Cake. Yes, they serve other food but I wanted cake. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. You order and pay at the cashier and it is semi-self serve. They do, however, bring the food to you when ready.
I chose two cakes as I couldn't decide on one. They all looked so pretty!
This is the Lavender Earl Gray ($88). I've had a lot of vegan cakes and this was one of the best I've had. It was so moist. The cream was a not too sweet and lightly flavored with lavender and Earl Gray without being overpowering. It was also beautiful to look at.
The other cake was the Signature Blue Rose ($88). Wow. the blue really came out from the spirulina they used to color it. The cake was also moist and I noticed they used the same cake base as the previous one. The taste of rose was very strong.
For $30 you can get a coffee with any order of cake. I ordered a latte. It took a long time for them to make. We finished our cake and was still waiting when I started to wonder if they forgot. It was not that great. Just very average. But at least the latte art was nice.
The cakes were beautiful and tasted fantastic. It was, however, pretty expensive. I think the most expensive cake I''ve had in Hong Kong to date. But at least it was worth it as it was a really good slice of cake.
