I finally have the chance to try on this popular Japanese restaurant since I am having dinner alone tonight. Tokyo Chikara Meshi was located at The Forest, few minutes walk from Mong Kok MTR.The restaurant was huge and spacious, with normal table and bar table. They have spice powder, sauce, seasoning and water placed on every table for us to use from. The restaurant was huge and spacious, with normal table and bar table. They have spice powder, sauce, seasoning and water placed on every table for us to use from.
Their menu was straight-forward, offering beef rice bowl, pork rice bowl, rice set, curry rice, side dishes and drinks.
Coke Zero was gassy and refreshing, less sweet than normal. 
I ordered this dinner set, which consisted of grilled beef bowl and grilled dumplings. 
Even though I ordered the regular size, the serving was still huge, with generous serving of sliced beef and rice. Rice was chewy and fragrant while grilled sliced beef was thin in texture, very tender and juicy. 
Grilled dumplings - The skin was thin in texture and was grilled till slightly crispy at the edges while the fillings inside was chewy and juicy. 
Kimchi was crunchy and juicy, slightly spicy, going well with the rice bowl. 
Fried chicken was fried till the skin was crispy, and yet the chicken meat was still chewy and juicy.
