Ordered scallops: alarm bells should be ringing when supposedly 'fresh' seafood dishes are at a fixed price (as opposed to by weight).
It's the size of a HK$10 dollar coin. Six in one dish.
Veggies are normal.
Salad roll: eight large fried dough with shreds of scallops, scrimps and thousand island sause. It's ok.
Didn't order any fish because I overheard people sitting nearby said it's not too fresh.
The clams at the next table looked smaller than a 50 cent (HK dollars).
It's only half a tourist trap because it's not too expensive; the beer is quite cheap (but I suppose it's the same everywhere in Cheung Chau).
Definitely not up to the Cheung Chau standard.
There are some very good seafood restaurants in Cheung Chau. Unfortunately, I could remember neither the name nor the location. An interesting tell tale sign is that the customers in this restaurant didn't look too excited or happy with their food - on the other hand, customers in nearby restaurants looked like they were enjoying their food!
