Watercress, pork fried dumplings
Before I ate it, the waitress recommended me to try pairing it with their homemade chilli fried turnip sauce + vinegar. The sauce was spicy with hints of sweet and savoury but I would say that it’s taste was only completed by the addition of vinegar. I think it really hit all the taste domains as the missing is umami is supplied by the crispy and meaty dumplings 🤤 why choose one when you can get all right? 😎
Homemade pork cartilage rice 🍚
Initially I thought it was kinda weird to get rice even though we had dumplings but cravings are cravings 🤣🤷🏻♀️ the meat was so tender that it just slides off and melts. If I was super lazy I think it’s so smooth and soft that I could just swallow it without chewing 🤣🤣🤣 Another thing I liked was drizzling the peanut sauce all over my rice while eating it 🍚
Tea 🍵
The bottle is actually pretty cute and I wanted to bring it home ngl 🤣 it is made from reduced water and although I’m not very clear about the science, I’m sure it just means it’s a lot healthier 🤣👍👍 My friend and I were debating if it was tieguanyin or jasmine tea, but either way it was extremely refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal
