先說大不同的白鱔煲仔飯, 飯身粒粒分明, 飯焦是有的, 但不夠公整而不能成塊定形, 可能是有點濕潤的原故. 豉汁偏鹹甜度不夠. 白鱔沒有泥味和雪味, 鮮度夠, 肉質爽彈, 質素不錯, 只是切得很薄, 份量可以再多一點, 感覺不夠慷慨.
小菜最出名的, 是其冰鎭咕嚕肉, 其實就是將其放在冰上, 令外皮更脆, 本身夠熱燙, 吃起來有冰火合璧的對比, 只是叫盡快吃完, 不然冰塊溶化成水, 會影響整道菜的味道和口感. 剁椒蒸雞送飯一流, 香辣味道自然, 雞件夠入味, 吃起來爽彈中帶點韌的口感, 有點Overcooked, 但至少比吃起來粉紅帶血的, 來得更安心.
