野食

冷盤 -

魚生-食左Tuna, 「筆記貝」, 聖子(not thoroughly washed, there was sand within), sweet shrimps, prawns, crab legs (the shell was too hard, so I didn't actually eat because I did't really want to lose my manner and appear like a babarian) lol

And I also had another kind of fish, its flesh was white in colour. They were generally fresh but not as good as expected...

Salad- I tried them all, generally good but not impressive.

Meat and hot food- I didn't try much. I just took some roasted chicken. I would not say they tasted bad but apparently I can cook my own better.

Dessert & Fruits - the fruit salad was very freshly made with selected pineapple, raspberry, strawberry, mango, blueberry, dragon fruit and melon, so sweet and succulent that I took it four times.

blueberry cheese cake - one of Mandarin Oriental's specialties. Not cold enough and a bit sour, though it was smooth with a quite intense taste of cheese.

Mille Feuille - Crunchy with smooth and sweet custard and berries....Je l'aime beaucoup!!!!


Ice cream - I tried almost all...They were all smooth and rich in taste and texture. Honestly I liked them better than Haagen-Dazs.

Lime sorbet - At first I though it would taste fresh but it turned out to be too strong and too sweet, but still not bad.
Green tea - it was my favourite among all and everyone's gotta love it, love its richness, its aroma.
Strawberry - quite gd
Vanilla- quite gd

Chocolate truffle - an intense chocolate sensation of with a texture of velvety and a wine fragrance (I forgot what the stuffing was)

Crème brûlée - creamy, rich and sweet with a note of vanilla.....but too sweet

Tiramisu - good but not impressive

the service was good - frequently filling us water

the place was of course good, well embellished and adorned

Overall, a nice experience with nice food and service, worth the price ($338+10% service charge)
