I must say choosing to dine at 稻香because its food is well known to be money for value. Last time I went there, I was quite surprised about how much I paid (not much) but the quality I reived (good).So I decide to go there again and I am going to make reservation by phone. However, before I start to get into the restaurant, I find their service really strange! So I decide to go there again and I am going to make reservation by phone. However, before I start to get into the restaurant, I find their service really strange!
I was trying to make reservation for 13 people at 7 o'clock, but the 知客kept asking me if it was ok to make it 6.45. I asked if we would need to leave early that night, as in if there would be a time limit, she said no. So I asked the reason for why making it into 6.45 but not 7, she gave me some long reasons which I did not quite understand.... (you can also tell she has a strong accent..)
So I asked if it is ok to arrive at 7, she said, then we should try to arrive earlier... Because of that, we waffle for a long time... and at the end, we made that for 7 o'clock, but up til now, I still cannot see why I had to make it to be 6.45...
And by the way, during the conversation on the phone, there were two interuptions to pause the conversation, which I thought that was not very appropriate.
