Quite attractive especially their multiple layered Bento boxes. A viable option if you’re doing lunch in Causeway Bay area..

Cooked then ice-bathed Eggplant served in dashi sauce and with bonito flakes. Really liked this.

Including items like Kamaboko, Kazunoko, Namasu, Gobou burdock root, Kuri Kinto, Kuromame, Date-Maki, Salmon Roes, Fried Oyster, etc.
.
Stew Cooked dishes, including chicken, small sweet potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, lotus roots, etc. Really done to perfection.

Done very well. It’s salty but not overly so. Very well done.

A MUST order dish during Japanese New Years, as sticky rice mochi plays an important role whether it is sweet or savoury. This came with the right amount of mochi, chicken, red and white carrots and daikon as per tradition, spinach, etc. Sometimes it comes with mushrooms in hexagonal shape.
.
Red Bean Sticky Rice with Fish meat 赤飯, and a Whiter Rice with Wild Rice to emphasize on the Red & White theme..

$280 can’t buy you much these days,
Although by sheer luck I found out that this Japanese New Years meal was quite a bargain plus the food was great. It is also one of the restaurant that will provide for a few more days than usual, although I still prefer it as take-away or cooked at home. But here it was home away from home.
