Uni pasta isn’t all that new. Sadly, the majority of those you get at restos are usually more about gimmick rather than actually being able to let the uni shine. Al dente spaghetti evenly coated with a creamy uni sauce that just screams UNI‼️ Pure bliss for uni lovers!
What impressed me even more, was how despite the strong uni flavour, all the diff components were still so perfectly balanced- the sweetness of the uni + fennel foam, the savoury flying fish roe, the hint of spiciness... hands down one of the best uni pastas I’ve had in town!

The other dishes were pretty good too!
The carabineros prawn had a lovely char and was packed with flavour; the baby lamb rack was seared to a beautiful medium rare and had the most tender texture 🤤

They also have this oyster promotion deal, with which you get 4 oysters plus 2 glasses of Chardonnay at just $178!
The oysters weren’t the most plump but the they did a have a very pleasant sweetness that lingered. But I mean, this quality at just $178- what’s there to complain about?!

Tipsy is def a gem in the neighbourhood, with great vibes, quality good and a chic environment. The only thing I wish they’d work on is service. Pretty lousy for such a decent resto haha🙈 nonetheless, a resto worth visiting (esp with the eatigo discount😉😉)
