來自台灣的火鍋過江龍,曾經一段時期台灣的火鍋店,在香港開設分店是成門成市的舉動,但熱潮相對冷卻,再加上大陸的麻辣火鍋在香港大展拳腳,台灣火鍋店在香港相對沉寂起來,之前最有名的鼎王及寬巷子也結業,但香港環境再差也會吸引過江龍,肉多多就是例子,不單只是集團在香港的第一家分店,也是在台灣以外的第一家分店,在銅鑼灣以前CEO Neway的位置人流還算可以,名為肉多多,這裏的肉類也是以極大盤,甚至是瀑布般的擺設,看起來相當吸引,至於質素還好,就是美國Choice至到Prime之間,價錢和無老鍋差不多,侍應服務也算相當殷勤,保持了台灣餐廳的人情味,吃完火鍋還有夾公仔機玩,但很難夾中。(笑)Originating from Taiwan, hot pot restaurants once thrived in Hong Kong but have since quieted due to competition from mainland spicy hot pot. Despite challenges, Rou Duo Duo opened its first branch outside Taiwan in Causeway Bay. Named “Lots of Meat,” it offers large, appealing meat portions of decent quality (American Choice to Prime). Priced similarly to Wu Lao Guo, it maintains Taiwanese hospitality with attentive service, plus claw machines for fun, though winning is tough.
