Today, saw the crowd outside of the restaurant after it was awarded the 米芝蓮 star. We live in Provident Centre which is just next to the restaurant. While the food quality is OK (not WOW and the price is not cheap too) here, we never go to this restaurant now. One of the bad experiences (we gave them couple chances actually before we decided not to go anymore), we're buying half a chicken (HK$120 per half bird) to take away. When Ah Hung's wife is packing, we asked her to give a bit more of the ginger dippings, then she started to complain: you should say earlier la; you're now wasting the things; .........For god's sake, how could we know how much she's going to give until she put the ginger dippings into the small cup; and it would definitely be easier to change to a larger cup than her taking the time to complain.
I saw similar comments from several other 食評 and thus it is not our prejudice.
Hope Ah Hung can see these comments and really do something about it (maybe ask his wife to stay at home rather than killing the business at the restaurant). It is sad to see a restaurant with good food but killed by bad service.
