They do a good pint of Guinness and the fish goujons were a highlight but the waiting staff are so bad (constantly on their phones, chatting away to themselves, getting orders wrong, treating customers like it's an inconvenience) makes this place a let down. When I told the staff the goujons were raw I got a blank look (like, so what) when I asked them they needed to be cooked they reluctantly took then away and 10 mins later I got the same food back, but half the portion of what I ordered and over cooked - they are completely uncaring, they could care less about your experience. Give this place a wide birth.

Came here tonight with two friends. The guys ordered Sunday Roast and I had Snapper Green Curry. The curry is below average and was more like a thick sauce poured over the fish. The Sunday roast was “a piece of steak” sitting on top of potatoes and a tiny Yorkshire pudding with vegetables on the side. The steak was not too bad but it certainly was not roast beef! When asked if it’s roast beef, the staff said yes. The right thing to do is to be honest with your customers if roast beef was not available, and not try to pass by serving something else. The music in the background was sad ballad, which really didn’t go well with the whole dining experience. It’s a shame really, this place used to be much better!

The Phoenix located at the mid levels is evidently successful as they have been here since 2000.It is always busy when I go past it but this Sunday I seized the opportunity for dinner as it wasn't that busy. There were so many good options to choose from like dishes launched for St Patrick's Day and they even had bubble and squeak.Sunday Roast is almost disappearing from the Hong Kong scene so I ordered that.Delaney's in Wanchai used to serve it but they have closed down a few years ago.It was roast pork loin that day with cider gravy. The pork was a bit dry but the other stuff made up for it especially the cauliflower cheese which was so comforting. It tasted like the stuff we got at school in this creamy cheesy sauce that complimented the dry pork loin nicely. The pork crackling was way too hard. For drinks, had tea and the zero alcohol lager by Carlsberg. Not that I'm complaining but the Sunday Roast was only HKD158 on the bill so maybe it was a late night discount??

I always find that the bars located not off the mid level escalators are the best and this place was no exception. I happened upon this place by accident because I was charmed by the atmosphere and the cute little deck out front. The uniqueness about this place is the menu. It's written daily on these wall chalkboards and changes according to what's fresh. It has a wide variety of courses, perfect for vegetarians and meat eaters. I ordered their bruschetta, fried camembert cheese, and fish & chips. Their bruschetta came on generous slices of french bread with different toppings. They had ones with salmon, prosciutto, and the traditional tomatoes. I loved the pesto that went with the prosciutto one! It was the perfect mix. The one I liked the least was the salmon one. It could have used a little bit of acid and less meat. The fried camembert cheese was amazing. It came with a reddish jam that accented the cheese perfectly.I was amazed at the freshness of their fish & chips. It was slightly underseasoned, but in a good way. You could taste that this wasn't something they fried from the freezer. Overall, the food is definitely worth trying. It also doesn't hurt that the bartender is a handsome young guy taking your order at the bar hahaCheers to fresh food!

lamb rack,good!! 吃羊,始终要保留一丁点的羊"SO" 味!!价钱?! SOHO区,以这样的价钱,吃到如此质素,实在超值了~唯一的缺点,就是mid-level,大热天走上去,真的要了我的命
