Two things I learnt today!!Fact 1: The foam box doesn’t melt in the microwave.I ordered an Iskender, and basically the guy put the ingredients in the white foam box and shoved it in the microwave.I thought it was going to melt but it didnt!!Fact 2: The Iskender is so simple to make, the ingredients are readily available from the supermarket!! 2 Slices of breadNestle original yoghurtTomato pureeChicken!!!!!All the guy did was diced the bread, placed it in the foam box, put some chicken on top, then tomato puree, and then the yoghurt and heated it through the microwave!!! :0HEY PRESTO! ISKENDER is so easy to make!!Also quite amusing, was given chopsticks and chinese plastic spoon by the turkish joint!!!

今天返10:30am, 返工前已经去了麦当劳食了个hot cake早餐, 所以都不是太肚饿,我沿著谢斐道去觅食, 也不想食茶餐厅及烧味, 不久经过了一间烤肉的食店, 门口也挂了个the rolls的餐牌,从来我都不会食羊肉, 只好试下转转烧鸡肉卷, 这间老板是土耳其人,他的英文讲得不错, 他叫ALEX都好nice,笑容可嘉,得他热诚款待我好开心, 他也介绍我食这店招牌菜beef kofte roll, 但最后我都是选择了食chicken doner roll可以有一杯soft drink , tea or coffee , 我点了一杯冻柠檬茶,这间店子不是好大,店内也放置了一些外国的挂画,更有些是土耳其的书籍&图片, 充满民俗风情, 这里得几个座位, 不过这店最特别的是有个open kitchen 可以看到Alex 帮我们做食物, kitchen 有两个转转机, 一个放了鸡肉, 另一个是羊肉, 旁边是一个炸炉&帮面包制热的机器, 真是大开眼界座位是high chair,桌上更放了一些调味料, 除salt &pepper, 还有一些较特别的dressings, 在边是mint dressing, 中间放了的是garlic dressing, 橙色的是有辣椒的chilli dressing,食土耳其style的roll再落些调味料更美味The chicken doner roll 终于做好了, 用了钖纸包住, 内里有洋葱, 蓄茄,生菜&切薄的鸡肉, 鸡肉都好香浓嫩滑, 蔬菜方面都好新鲜, 不过我就不是太喜欢食生洋葱, 如果炒熟了这些洋葱会更香口, 内里更有些mint dressing , pita bread带点微暖, 咬落非常香脆, 份量十足除了rolls, 店内更有提供greek salad , soup of the day, chips, 青瓜粒乳酪....等等, 款式不会只是卖rolls, 更可以take away, 食物方面都做得不错, lunch的选择又多一个了

因为附近有好多食肆, 所以这没甚么人.但我是kebab maniac那天去找小猪儿买了这个给自己.鸡肉roll, 配以汽水只售$35外表脆, 鸡肉干干的没甚么不好, 人们常说kebab的肉干, 其实烤得久, 干是必然.然而香气十足, 份量也十足, 多得漏了出来, 正式'走鸡'老板相信为土耳其人, 好客, 笑容十足.本人问及他, 店内图片为何处, 他则笑答: Istanbul店内图片亦显示土耳其风光明媚.
