We always love to try out new restaurant, and it became a more reasonablie excuse for my hubby's b day The bread came soon after we seated, isn't that cute?One of our favourite, very cute dish.This was beyond excellent.The steak was juicy.Dan dan dan dan... Here comes the devil birthday cake, it was so heavy but we finished it.

一个箭步同男神合照 !开饭网跟澳洲旅游局合作的推广 : 有澳洲特色的美酒佳肴外,『甜蜜澳洲』男主角、厨艺了得的艺人徐肇平(Shaopin Tsui) 会出席活动,与大家分享在澳洲拍摄微电影时的有趣经历。先来个脆炸薯圈条脆皮黑毛猪肉酿溏心蛋, 猪肉加上澳洲特有的香草 , 别有风味 ! 女伴选的煮鱿鱼, 泰式唔辣, 清清地不过不失, 煮得刚刚好唔韧小砧板上的法包 , 伴碟的小芽菜, 不吃的, 有趣, 连泥上试酒部分开始了, 香港葡萄酒协会培训总监Chris主持, 够晒权威 !男神就在对面台第一枝, Chardonnay 2008, 微黄带金再来, 塞蜜蓉, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc比较顺喉, 颜色较浅, 余韵有五秒左右从来少饮的我扮下专家先!红酒来了, 2005 的Shiraz, medium body, 有cherry, date, plum 的果香Cannelonni, 中间有菠菜、ricotta cheese义大利乡村软酪, 松子仁,番茄酸甜适中, ricotta cheese配菠菜是个好选择,黑毛猪+和牛肉丸, 配orzo米饭orzo米比较少见, 有些黏牙, 吃不惯;徐肇平落手造个 上等人版: 肠仔菠萝,系 'drunken grape' = 羊芝士+葡萄 , 羊芝士加烤过的碧根果仁碎, 葡萄浸威士忌或红酒过夜羊芝士和葡萄很夹味, 果仁碎令芝士更香浓, 葡萄郤吃不出酒味?!柠檬custard 士多啤梨千层, 柠檬味鲜甜 , 醒胃消滞 , 领我回味无穷 !朱古力brownie 朱古力味劲浓郁 , 就像整块朱古力给你吃 , 上面的忌廉和雪糕刚好中和了 , 又恰到好处! 与男厨神合照啊 ! 大家抢著排队原来他的新cookbook同日出版了在澳洲拍摄时, 糖妺叫他Shaopin, 今天大家叫他Shao 有D 法国feel 哩 !

和朋友一起找个地方聚脚,落雨天时!地方尚算有点难找。可是一进餐厅有种和谐平静感觉,桌与桌之间有适当的空间。坐下桌上有画纸可随意发挥,墙壁上亦有不少客人留下语句。整体感觉舒服自在,食物亦有带著惊喜连连。

在中环午饭的选择尤其多,只要预算有松动,绝对不乏选择。这天和同事又来到了The Bellbrook,之前有段日子厨师调味相当「重手」,所以我也有点退却。这天幸而水准回勇,也绝对值得推介一下。If you have a slight wide budget for lunch, there are plenty of choice for you to choose in Central. I returned to The Bellbrook this day with a group of colleagues. The quality got slightly deteriorated in the past which made me a bit hesitated to make the booking. However, it’s far better than before and worth to recommend to you.前菜吞拿鱼沙律,酸胃之选,酸酸甜甜的沙律醋汁,洋葱味甚浓,用上已熟的吞拿鱼肉,口感有点韧。另有蕃茄沙律作选择,会是更健康之选。For starter, tuna salad would be a refreshing choice. The black vinegar created a sweet and sour flavour. The onion flavour was slightly too strong. There is another healthy salad choice, tomato salad.同场加了一道餐厅著名菜式,炸旋风薯仔配巴马臣芝士。整个旋风薯仔造型吸引,也相当有魅力,巴马臣芝士刨丝洒在薯片上,慢慢溶掉,邪悪得不得了。We also ordered the signature dish, potato twist with Parmesan cheese. It had an very tempting presentation with Parmesan cheese sparkling on the chips and melting slowly. So devil and tempting!!主菜,香煎平目鱼配焗新薯,调味适中,鱼煎得刚好熟,十分香滑,而且份量十足,差点便吃不下香口的薯仔了。Pan seared sole fillet. Seasoning was just perfect and the fish is also cooked just right with a smooth and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Quite a big portion while we almost couldn’t finish the potato on the side.烧鸡配炖扁豆及香草。烧鸡的肉汁丰富,也充满了香草的味道,炖扁豆煮得非常软稔,十分入味。Roasted chicken with braised lentils and native herbs. The chicken was so juicy with the flavour of herbs. The braised lentils was so tender as well.意粉控的午餐当然少不了一道意粉,这次的是蕃茄汁长通粉。微辣的蕃茄汁,煮得微硬的长通粉,刚刚好的味道,是美味的配搭。How would a pasta lover miss a course of pasta for lunch? This time we had penne arabiatta. Little spicy tomato sauce pairing with the penne which was cooked al dente. What a delicious combination.午餐还有是日甜品或是餐厅自家制的雪糕,但这天大家都食不了,只好放弃。不过,一定会再来。Dessert of the day or homemade ice cream followed with the set lunch, but we were so full that we couldn’t take it. Will definitely return.

中上环一带太多食肆,几乎每日都可以有新选择,因为要去ZAI FE,所以也就在附近选了这间餐厅这餐厅太有趣,枱面有一小罐crayon就是给你周围画,写上「到此一游」「Nicole & Peter」「Love you Ann」,表白墙,早一阵子,香港也出现过这样大型的表白地方,只是大家没有用来示爱,而是将自己对政府、中央的诉求写出来(说好了食饭不谈政治,似乎是戒不了的坏习惯)介绍一下menu吧! weekday lunch set,可以选two courses or three courses,选择不多,也因为说好了去饮咖啡,所以我们都选two courses啦落单后,就是等的份儿店员捧来了一个「display」,起初还以为什么小装置,原来是像木头的盘子,载住一个麦味大面包,麦味好香,也是真的! 哈哈,远看就似一个大洋葱嘛! 旁边还有载牛油的小杯子,看上来就是一个小盆栽,有盐牛油上一堆黑色的..是泥土吗? 好好玩! 但味道就好一般,自己整甜品也一直都只用无盐牛油,食唔惯...starting bite由today soup开始,这是我最爱的carrot soup(太多最爱啦)的而且确,这汤的质感最合我心意,不会稀巴巴的,而且好滑好啦! 到bigger bite,今次选了grilled hanger steak & mushroom barley risottogrilled hanger steak(medium),不过这似是medium rare,都好吃! 薯条,看起来有点颓,哈哈,放得有点颓,软软的炸薯条,味道也不错! 最后就是mushroom barley risotto,好大碟好多cheese,蘑菇都好多,值得一提的是,这个意大利米和平常的有点不一样,竟然是口感烟韧的薏米! 好有惊喜,粒粒都是灌足汤,「圆到好似个波咁」这样的「risotto」爽口兼有咬口,每粒都可以咀嚼好耐,而且感觉好健康(其实好饱)非常满足的lunch,下次也可以再来!
