I ordered 4 cupcakes. Lemon meringue, strawberry, pumpkin and mocha. Each cupcake cost $28. I like lemon meringue the most because the taste was not too sweet comparing to the other cupcakes. When buying those cupcakes I thought the price was a bit high since it looks like they are using all the same plain flavour sponge for the cupcakes. However after I ate it, I realize that the cupcakes use different flavour sponge to match each toppings.

I think the cupcakes are a bit expensive for buying as a meal that you will usually eat. But it will definitely be a good choice for special events like birthday cakes.

After a couple days of working overtime at work, I needed a sweets break. I found that a new patisserie had opened in Causeway Bay and as I frequent it often, I came here for my sweets break.

Sift has many locations in Hong Kong. Known for it's desserts, cakes and everything sweet, I was pretty happy to have one open up so close to me! Located in Hysan Place is a take away counter filled with treats.

Isphan Cupcake ($35). Beautiful to look at? Yeah, it sure was. The frosting was not sweet but very creamy. There was a faint hint of rose flavor. The macaron was not too sweet and crispy. The cupcake was very light in taste though a bit on the dry side. But what was a surprise was it was stuffed with diced bits of canned lychee. That was perhaps the only part I didn't like. I think it would have been better if they made a lychee cream filling instead of just dicing up canned fruit and sticking it in the cupcake.
