呢间意大利餐厅响公司附近, 都开左成年, 一路冇去食晏嘅原因系set lunch价钱唔算平(HK$128+10%), 而且lunch经过都唔多觉有客, 无谓冒险. 今日终于一试都系因为附近想试嘅新餐厅都差不多试过晒, 未试果d又订唔到枱, 上过黎openrice虽然食评唔多, 但平均评分都不差, 有成3.7分, 于是一行5人今日就黎左, 点知……..个场颇细, 但唔迫, 都ok.佢个餐牌全英文, 有几个意大利食物名词, 唔知佢系mud, 咪问吓个waitress啰, 佢都系解释唔到比我地听…..面包: 有d干, 而且枱面得橄榄油, 冇醋头盘: Antipasti和汤, 二选一Antipasti: 听讲d菜有d系苦嘅, 不太新鲜汤: Minestrone, 劲咸主菜:我d 同事嗜牛, 一于好勇敢咁叫左个 Veal XXXXXX (就系唔知个字系 mud果个), 原来系两片薄薄的牛, 痴住片烟肉, 伴住d 菜咁, 女士食都未必够饱, 男士食就更加唔驶讲.而我与另一位同事就选茄汁三文鱼天使面, 呢个合格, 如果个餐系收$70的话.饮品:餐牌上的coffee and tea 系cross out 左个coffee 的, 解释系coffee machine坏左, 冏….. 焗住饮柠檬茶, 我饮热的, 味道就冇mud点, 但切柠檬刀功就一流, 每片呈半圆形, 我分到有3片; 而冻果两杯, 我见到每杯有3-4个半圆形, 听讲冇柠檬味亦唔觉有茶味.甜品:见到有四款, 最吸引的是Black Forest, 我地眼见其他人d cake每份都有八分一个cake咁上下的size, 咁就问 吓个waiter剩底果d Black Forest可以切到几多份啦, 佢话5份, 咁咪要晒佢啰, 点知黎到每一份绝对冇八分一嘅size, 而5碟都大小不一, 有份仲好似一开二咁, 好有被骗嘅感觉啰! 而好彩嘅系佢唔算好食啰.到比钱果阵, 一句多谢都冇, 其实成餐饭, 无论个waiter or waitress 都面黑黑, 冇笑容.所以无论食物同服务, 系喺一间茶餐厅的水准以下. 但价钱就茶餐厅x3.

以前吃过一次,觉得不错,打算带爸爸妈妈去 have a good treat。已经预早7天订位,7时已经全部人抵达餐厅,够早啦瓜,但是间餐厅已经什么都无晒,烧猪无,烧鸡无,羊肉意粉无,仲有其他好多都无(实在太多无,吾记得甘多)。什么都无时,最后点的菜味道好明显 -- 不好!我们8个人,他懒好记性甘,五洗写低order,我们已经提醒个侍应甘多人最好写下我们的order啦,最后当然上错。咖啡不够热。意大利火腿太难赵开,不是高级货。都吾平架,成300元一位连甜品,无mud喝酒或饮品。平常都吾会甘八卦,写食评,但是实在太失望。

每次坐车经过轩尼斯道, Pomodoro招牌的大红蕃茄总会吸引著我的眼球(因为我实在很喜欢吃蕃茄)我和女朋友说找个机会去试试,女朋友也兴味盎然。可我们往往与她擦身而过,却没有尝试过大红蕃茄的滋味。最终我决定和女朋友每月庆祝就到Pomodoro吧!可是当天女朋友身体有点不适(想试试Pomodoro真一波三折呢!其实我劝过女朋友不如等病好后再吃,前车可鉴,女朋友当然不会听了---详情可参阅食评….)当天我接女朋友放工后就到了Pomodoro,我订了7:30,当时餐厅只有几枱食客,我们一到达就有位了,我和女朋坐了靠墙的二人枱。打开餐牌一看,全部是英文来的,我笑说不会英文,就交由女朋友发办好了(女朋友身体抱恙,口味是难以猜度的)女朋友叫了一个Spaghetti di Gragnano ai Frutti di Mare(Special Seafood Spaghetti with mix Shell Fish)及Risotto allo Zafferano e Funghi Porcini(Risotto with Saffron and Porcini Mushrooms)。蕃茄多士及面包在食品来之前,侍应奉上了两件蕃茄多士及一碟面包,应该是作为Appetizer的吧!卖相相当漂亮,两法经过烘焙的法包,上面铺满了切粒的蕃茄,蕃茄很新鲜,混了些橄榄油,很香很清新的味道,配上香脆的法包,配合得天依逢。非常醒神开胃。面包亦是法包,非常新鲜,外脆内软,沾一些橄榄油一油一齐吃味道更佳(女朋友怕肥,什么也没沾,但仍然相当味美)Spaghetti di Gragnano ai Frutti di Mare(Special Seafood Spaghetti with mix Shell Fish)意粉的卖相相当吸引,意粉配以鲜红的蕃茄汁,卖相已经先声夺人。看得到有很多海鲜,意粉煮的很好,软硬度适中,很有质感,虾的Size算大,新鲜爽口,吃得出虾味;蚬亦相当大只,新鲜鲜甜。蕃茄汁调配的刚好,清新中带浓郁的蕃茄味,味道自然(不会像一般茄汁配甜得太假或太酸)意粉及酱汁三者配合得宜,味道非常好(海鲜意粉一向用白汁会较为稳妥,但这个海鲜意粉配上茄汁,味道著实令人喜出望外呢!)Risotto allo Zafferano e Funghi Porcini(Risotto with Saffron and Porcini Mushrooms)用上番红花及牛肝菌菇这两种顶级食材去烩意大利饭,而且对这两种食材所知有限,的确更令人期待呢!(番红花贵为「香料之后」,身价不菲,由于只采用雌性花蕊,每朵紫色的番红花只有三个雌蕊柱头,而且必须于日出前以人工采摘避免枯萎。大约要一万五千朵番红花才能收集到100g的雌蕊柱头,每1g都要$50。不过番红花几乎没有味道,但水浸后会释出橙红色,能为食物添加色彩,也能令佳肴的香味更胜一筹;虽然番红花身价不菲,但优质的番红花香料只要使用极微的份量即可。当中尤以西班牙产的最佳。)(牛肝菌菇亦是另一种顶级食材,通常生长在松树、橡树及栗树下,小型的牛肝菌菇最适合烹调,口感柔滑细致,略带坚果香味及些许肉质的风味。)说回意大利饭本身吧,卖相简洁讨好,香气四溢,未吃已能嗅到阵阵的牛肝菌菇清香。尝了一口,意大利饭煮得时间刚好,带点黏稠,但还保有颗粒分明的口感。味道方面,吃到很清香的菌类味道,吞咽过后香味仍在口腔内久久不散。那种菌类的清香非一般白菌所能比。可能这就是牛肝菌菇值钱的地方。至于那种荡气回肠的味道是否添加了番红花而产生的魔力,就真的不得而知了(有点牛嚼牡丹的感觉......汗)不过我觉得喜欢吃菌类的看官不妨一试,准不会失望的。Mango Cheese Cake女朋友吃饱后,心思思想试试这里的蛋糕,其实店内近楼梯位置放了一个小小的透明蛋糕柜,女朋友亲自过去挑选,选了一件Mango Cheese Cake。Mango Cheese Cake上碟卖相非常吸引,不过Size就比一般蛋糕的略细一点。食味相当好,有非常浓郁的芒果味,而且蛋糕本身非常非常Cremay,Cheese与芒果的味道配合得宜,谁也没抢了谁的锋芒,非常好吃(我自己最喜欢吃Mousse Cake,因为这款蛋糕的质地很合我胃口)终于来到这间意大利蕃茄吃晚饭了,装修雅致,碗碟都见到蕃茄的踪影,就连枱布都是红色格仔花纹,装修可谓与店名相映成趣。食物水准甚高,而且份量适中,用料新鲜,食味非常不错。价钱方面与Habitu Ristorante及trattoria NOBILDUCA接近,亦属合理(女朋友都觉得食物水准高但略嫌价钱贵了一点,可能是受到Manago Cheese Cake影响吧,因为比正常蛋糕细的也要索价五十八个大洋......)店内食客不多,坐位亦见舒适,可以慢慢享用美食,实属难得。和女朋友坐了一会,女朋友说想到Sogo买些家品,我们就此告别Pomodoro,亦是时候想想下个月和女朋友到那里庆祝了呢!

Pomodoro is the more relaxed, sister restaurant to Pane & Vino on Mosque Street. I've never been to either but heard great things about Pane & Vino so decided to try Pomodoro for dinner. They seated our party downstairs because it looked like there was a private party upstairs. Downstairs was a bit crowded especially for a table of 5 and it was very loud, since the restaurant is on Hennessey Road which means it's we heard every passing bus. But no matter, we came for the food. We wanted to order the baked cheese and ham and eggplant with mozzarella and tomatoes but both dishes were out. We were a little surprised that an Italian restaurant was out of mozzarella… But then again, they were out of 2 different types of wines also. For starters, we ordered the antipasti and fried calamari to share. The antipasti was very good, the marinated sourness provided a good beginning to the start of the meal. The plate consisted of sun dried tomato, grilled zucchini, sardines, roast beets, some corn, roast pumpkin but only 1-2 pieces of each. The fried calamari came with a spicy mariana sauce which was also a good starter but I would have preferred the calamaris a little less fried. All 5 of us ordered pastas for main and I have to say the restaurant did a very good job on all the pastas. I order linguine with seafood and squid ink. The pasta had a lot of seafood and squid ink provided a perfect sea taste to the pasta. My second favorite was the Bucatini which had more of a bite and came with a spicy tomato sauce. Not sure if the waitress was new or just didn't speak English very well. We had to repeat our order numerous times, even after pointing to the menu. We ordered a bottle of wine with dessert but the wine was still not served after we finished the dessert so we had to cancel it. Overall, the food is pretty good but don't expect great service and ambience.

dec 05, 08,2人嚟lunch,叫咗 : 1) 面包 (免费)-我无试到因情愿留位比任食头盘 2) selection antipasti x 2-我同友人都拣咗自助头盘 (图为友人𠮶碟因佢排得靓d)-另有汤嘅选择,但当然自己pick嘅头盘(大约10款)吸引啦-但只可以喺头盘bar攞1次-最吸引我嘅喺parma ham+melon,番茄多士,冻肉cold cut同grilled瓜片-呢4样嘢都好好味,parma ham有咸香,可以大块d就仲好,个多士好脆好脆,其中1款有好多脂肪粒𠮶种咸香味好浓郁,而grilled瓜片亦卖相靓,又健康呢-好不错嘅头盘 3) 主菜i) gratinated home made cannelloni pasta filled w/mix shell fish-个蚬同虾都带小鲜,但个粉就1般,无明显嘅咬口-ok啦-宜家喺番个名同个样,好似喺2样嘢㖞 ii) stew cod fish fillet w/vegetable sauce-个鱼唔大,亦唔喺厚切,不过肉质胜在几有弹性吓-可以 4) 甜品-初时我以为喺已设定嘅细细件迷你甜品,原来喺在佢个甜品柜任拣,大约都有5-6款i) panna cotta-好滑,亦唔甜,就算caramel酱都唔喺好甜咋-不错 ii) tiramisu-呢个好fusion/modern做法因个饼底唔喺lady's finger,而喺好似cheesecake嘅饼底,有麦嘅小香同口感-但无咩酒味,可以啦5) 饮品i) hot coffee-都几香,附上嘅奶都喺暖热 ii) hot lemon water-正常-比较欣赏佢个头盘同甜品
