星期六約左好朋友去尖沙咀行街,朋友極力推介試這個西式甜品。甫入Cafe,就見到琳琅滿目,色顏鮮豔既麵包和蛋糕,相信每個女孩子見到這個美麗畫面都會失控,急不及待試晒所有甜品!室內面積唔算大,裝修行歐陸式半開放設計,挺有歐洲Cafe感覺,可惜室內偏嘈吵,想好休閒地傾計有點難度我叫了la boule chocolate pistachio 和熱Mocha。la boule chocolate pistachio呈一個球體,好像一個水晶球,整體造型好Artistic,切開係有三層Cream,好像是黑/白朱古力和開心果味,質感好細滑,面層有好香濃既黑朱古力醬,底層還有脆脆,一啖可以嚐到多種層次,令人回味!再配上一杯帶有小小苦味既Mocha,剛好中和朱古力既甜味!每次食完朱古力甜品,心情都會好好!

la boule chocolate pistachio呈一個球體,好像一個水晶球,整體造型好Artistic,切開係有三層Cream,好像是黑/白朱古力和開心果味,質感好細滑,面層有好香濃既黑朱古力醬,底層還有脆脆,一啖可以嚐到多種層次,令人回味!再配上一杯帶有小小苦味既Mocha,剛好中和朱古力既甜味!
每次食完朱古力甜品,心情都會好好!

米飯班主對蛋糕沒有什麼要求喜好,就為他選件小妹喜歡的吧~~ Framboisier ($40) 的粉紅色少女外表正中小妹心呀!! 面層是紅桑子朱古力脆脆,鬆脆而甜甜酸酸的,下層則是雲呢拿蛋糕跟紅桑子忌廉層層交替地組成,口感細膩甜美,無論視覺、味覺都得到滿足!

平時的磅蛋糕都是乾乾實實的,但Passion 的磅蛋糕真的做得很好!濕潤細緻,綿密有彈性,而且帶有濃濃的開心果味,味道天然不造假,把整條磅蛋糕吃光光無難度~~

We walk pass Passion by Gerard Dubois on Mody Road all the time. It’s the kind of cafe that you will stop by and glance into. It’s like ‘a hint of France’ in the middle of busy Tsim Sha Tsui.

Gerard Dubois is a Swiss-born chef specialising in patisseries, boulangeries and confiseries who is also the owner of the Passion cafes. Apart from the one in TST, there are two other Passion cafes in Central and Wan Chai.
We ordered a salted caramel and vanilla Milles Feuilles and a Raspberry Croquant, hoping to try something rich and sweet and another one slightly tartish and refreshing.

The taste of the caramel was very genuine: it’s almost tasting a bit like toffee and the salt had adequately balanced the sweetness of the caramel. The vanilla custard was lighter in taste yet aromatic, well balanced with the rich taste of the caramel custard. The texture of the custard wasn’t too soft or runny when I pressed my fork towards the Milles Feuilles, but also not too thick or dry that the custard would feel like a dough when I put it into my mouth. The pastry was still very crispy and buttery and it was a perfect combination with the creamy and smooth custard.

I ordered a cappuccino to accompany my sweets. At Passion by Gerard Dubois they brew Illy coffee. To be honest I am not a huge fan of Illy as (to me) they tend to be a bit too bright and the aroma is usually not very strong; but to my surprise the cup I tried was rather smooth and not as bright as I expected. The pistachio biscotti on the side of the coffee added some extra bit of excitement to the whole experience.

At our second visit, we also obeyed our rule of “one sweet and rich and the other tartish and refreshing”. So this time a La Boule Caramel and a vanilla lemon cake. La Boule means “a ball’ in French, it is a caramel ball with white chocolate mousse, salted caramel sauce and chocolate sauce; I could also taste a bit of alcohol in the raisins right in the middle. One layer after another and one favour after another, I particularly liked the base that was slightly chewy and tasted a bit like coffee (?) The vanilla lemon cake was not as much of a surprise compared to the caramel ball but it was not disappointing at all! The texture was smooth, the taste was tangy and it was full of pleasant lemony fragrance.

Look at what they also have at Passion! Macaronsss!! I haven’t got a chance to try any of these, but they looked artistic and the flavours they they got there were very creative and attractive. Green apple and cinnamon, mango and coconut, I think I also saw Yuzu (柚子) flavoured macarons too. They will be such suitable gifts on special occasions.

There is a bread corner at Passion, and that was the first place I saw sourdough bread in Hong Kong; they got rye soudough and wheat sourdough and a few other kinds.. how impressive! The other day we bought a piece of sourdough bread from there to make eggs benedict *v*
There are so many things that I’d like to try out at Passion: their danishes, their lovely looking macarons and their hot chocolate! Will certainly do another review after a couple more visits!

常去灣仔店, 今次要試一試尖沙咀店, 位於鹿鳴春樓下, 下午茶後, 便直接上去晚飯.Mango Mont Blanc, $41. 照譯應該係”芒果白朗峰”, 全無栗子意思, 雖然內裡是芒果慕斯, 但明明就係栗子蓉鋪面. 店員精心炮製這款玉桂粉灑落的店鋪招牌, 放上那件栗子”芒果白朗峰”, 賣相好, 食得特別爽.一刀切落去, 留了一手, 未夠狠心....壓偏了.... 天使麵般的栗子絲被割斷, 第二層是奶白色的軟忌廉, 最內層是黃色的芒果慕斯, 我以最快的無形手, 取了白朗山峰頂的栗子仁, 清甜的栗子香味…哈哈哈…我承認..是我誇張了點點..... 栗子蓉的香和慕斯的滑, 適中的甜度, 送咖啡一流….但….唔好意思, 今天我要了一杯白酒.PUERTO SALINAS – White, $44, SIERRA SALINAS, 屬Spain出品, 葡萄品種是Chardonnay和Moscatel, 介紹寫著: lightly oak aged. 不要誤會, oak aged並非代表用橡木桶釀酒, 尤其是平價貨, 無大可能是用昂貴的橡木桶, 而通常都是放一些橡木碎到不锈鋼桶內, 釋出橡木味.

PUERTO SALINAS – White, $44, SIERRA SALINAS, 屬Spain出品, 葡萄品種是Chardonnay和Moscatel, 介紹寫著: lightly oak aged. 不要誤會, oak aged並非代表用橡木桶釀酒, 尤其是平價貨, 無大可能是用昂貴的橡木桶, 而通常都是放一些橡木碎到不锈鋼桶內, 釋出橡木味. Chardonnay本身不會再aged, 所以加入Moscatel. Moscat常用於混酒, 有花香, 而Chardonnay則必定有柑橘果香, 但其他tropical fruit? 我無功力試得出了. 無論如, 以西班牙平價貨而言, 算是合格有餘.

店員態度良好, 有禮貌, 但對答查詢時, 總是覺得不及灣仔店, 詢問要麵包時, 感覺有些難度, 店員有些心急去解釋切片的問題, 我好像要與他搶說話, 我在灣仔食過多次, 切幾多塊, 切幾大件, 完全不覺得有障礙, 我總覺得灣仔店的店員較為善解人意. 但無論如何, 這只是我的主觀感覺, 我要再次聲名, 店員的禮貌態度絕對良好, 尤其是之後我見他們招呼入內的外國旅客, 絕對有專業水準.
题外话/补充资料: 這店的衛生情況有待改善, 太多的"飛行有機物體"往返不斷, 甚至出現在生果撻的玻璃櫃內, 我的相機也拍到了, 但無放上網, 請店長多加留意.

於尖沙咀喝下午茶,沿麼地道往尖東方向走,看見這家小店,外表裝潢很有法式風情,決定一試。餐廳設有室外和室內的座位。室外有四張迷你的二人餐桌,但街道有點嘈雜及有廢氣。室內有三大張高枱,每張可坐大約十人。最吸引人的是那巨型的凍櫃,放滿了不同顏色、不同種類的甜點,令人垂涎。天花有仿古的「汽油燈」,而牆身亦有仿製的露台,加上大約一半食客是外國人,突然有一種異國風情。高枱的中央放了數本印製得像小冊子一樣精美的餐牌,每一頁皆用彩色印刷,有大量相片,展示所有食品。閱過餐牌後,我到收銀處選購一件Framboisier Chocolat ($41)及一杯hot chocolate ($34)。蛋糕的拌碟是一個音樂符號圖案的朱古力碎,很特別。蛋糕表面有一顆清新鮮甜的紅桑子,並鋪了相信是染了紅桑子粒的朱古力碎,入口爽脆,豐富了口感。下面由一層層雲呢拿味及紅桑子味的忌廉蛋糕交替地組成,令甜味更有層次,每一口都感覺細嫩,味道甜美。熱朱古力似乎是由濃度較高的可可豆沖製成,味道像黑朱古力,苦澀中帶微甘,亦算香濃可口。每次吃過甜點後,我的快樂指數總會提升,有一種幸福的感覺。

熱朱古力似乎是由濃度較高的可可豆沖製成,味道像黑朱古力,苦澀中帶微甘,亦算香濃可口。

This location opened perhaps couple months ago? It looks like a relaxing cafe so I decided to come enjoy a small bite and coffee- WRONG. It got super crowded at lunch hour! I suggest visiting during other hours instead if you want to sit alone and enjoy some coffee!I tried their salad which was pleasantly surprise. With many toppings and I remember the greens to be very fresh, and there was this pumpkin salad that was very flavorful! I also got a macaron for dessert. Their display is too pretty

經過想啪啡,要咗杯off menu Flat White。店方用illy豆,預咗唔係新鮮炒,但亦覺差極有限度。杯嘢當然冇拉花但亦乜泡,感覺似飲一杯連鎖店式的double shot caffe latte-冇圓厚nutty亦冇性格果香,只帶著令人尷尬似有還無嘅酸味。飲落奶比例稍多,咖啡味明明是濃郁但只响after taste出現。我同自己講,當我飲勻全港啡店就唔使再試難飲嘅嘢…

After a long day at work, me and my friend decided to have something sweet! Passion was on the top of our list in TST.Apple crumble was delicious, the staff will heat it up and it will take around 15 minutes. Again, it was very sweet like the last time I tried but I didn't mind it too much today. And I also tried to dip it into the sauce this time which tasted much better.Mixed berries tunnel and Mixed fruit danish were both very yummy, the pastry were crispy and the flavour was spot on.

Apple crumble was delicious, the staff will heat it up and it will take around 15 minutes. Again, it was very sweet like the last time I tried but I didn't mind it too much today. And I also tried to dip it into the sauce this time which tasted much better.

Mixed berries tunnel and Mixed fruit danish were both very yummy, the pastry were crispy and the flavour was spot on.

We were attracted by the smell of the bread so we walked in the saw a large variety of salad. We couldn't resist so we ordered a large salad where you can choose three types of salad. O choose the tomato feta cheese, chicken pasta and vege mix. They were seasoned prefectly. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich, the chicken was nice but the bread was a bit hard to bite. Venilla lemon cake was too sour for me but the presentation of the cake was very pretty.

Cream burlee was the best because the favour was spot on, not too sweet and just warm enough to eat!

友人假日相聚,來到尖沙咀麼地道的Passion by Gerard Dubois,人頭湧湧。一進門,已被一籃籃的新鮮出爐麵包吸引,林林總總。女生聚會,當然少不了甜品,而這裡選擇甚多,更讓人不期然出現選擇障礙。先來一杯熱朱古力,是espresso杯的份量,熱騰騰的,非常香濃。飲的時候,表層的朱古力會溶掉芒果栗子蛋糕,想必是我這天最推介的甜點。幼滑的栗子慕絲,配上內裡的忌廉和鮮甜芒果肉,美味得很,忍不住快快食光。另外,喜歡芝士蛋糕的朋友不妨一試,雲石芝士蛋糕,芝士味濃而不膩。不喜甜點的朋友也可試試檸檬批,檸檬味非常突出,十分醒神。藍莓丹麥酥,精緻的賣相絕對會吸引到你的注意。層層酥脆,甜度適中,但絕對是有份量之選,想輕食的朋友要注意啊。除了甜點以外,店內還有沙律吧和一些熱食供應。這次選了三款沙律,蕃茄芝士沙律、紅菜頭沙律和蝴蝶粉沙律。紅菜頭沙律的清新真的讓我冷落了另外兩款沙律,而且紅菜頭十分爽甜,美味。友人點了三文魚焗蛋餅,非常精美。而且三文魚味不太濃,反而蛋味豐富,又維持少許濕潤,值得一試。

今日做完treatment,又想念Passion 的美味包點啦~~所以專程走過去Passion,買幾件包點回家與家人分享~ Tomato Focaccio ($20),大大件的Focaccio只是二十大洋,很抵食!!入口鬆軟綿密而且帶有香草的香氣,加上面層微酸的蕃茄,香口又美味~~Paysan with Walnut ($46)入口滿有麥香,包身厚實而外層脆身,加上不少的合桃,令口感更為豐富~~Chocolate muffin ($18) 是因為想食點甜甜的才買的~~ 朱古力味濃郁,內藏不少的朱古力粒,糕身鬆軟可口,不錯呀!!今次只是小買了這些包點作早餐,下次,要再食食它的蛋糕呀!!

這粒焦糖波波,有圓圓的身軀,豐富的內涵,
白朱古力慕絲、海鹽焦糖醬、黑朱古力醬,味道複雜,焦糖味很重,整個甜點很有層次,很有驚喜!

這晚與友人在餐廳坐了很久,傾得很舒服!

幫襯灣仔店已經可能是年多前的事, 感覺是店內面積很狹窄, 坐唔耐亦唔好意思坐得耐, 因為見客人企喺你後面等位座, 所以即使再經過灣仔那店都唔敢再入去了, 大概一年前見這店開到來尖東附近的麼地道口, 通常自已都會等他們run半年才去打擾, 今次是等了差不多一年, 人潮也沒有最初那麼嚇人了, 週末的下午一點多到達現場剛剛好走了一枱二人枱, 安排太座坐低後便出去柯打野了,顏色班爛的沙律盤, 看得人食慾大振, Large salad Box (400gm) $61計起数來才約$15/ 100gm取價公道, 沙律有蕃薯沙律/ 蕃茄沙律/ 火箭菜/ 小米咖哩乾果沙律, 四種都好好味但最好味的要算是小米咖哩乾果沙律, 咖哩味有存在感, 乾果也放了不少, 唯一覺得有點不足的可能是咖喱沙律汁過甜, 因為本身乾果已經感覺到甜味再在咖喱沙律汁內加過量的糖會令沙律感覺過甜, 而另一個蕃薯沙律的甜則來得自然,Chicken Sandwich with bacon bits $48 雞肉白汁沙律做的三文治飽, 飽的質感跟睇到的一樣是鬆軟得來沒有任何化學品感覺, 整個三文治是經過輕度烤過微暖的所以慢慢細嚼時會嗒出陣

Asparagus & French Ham Quiche $37 傳統法式蛋批, 內餡有露荀/火腿, 切開睇火腿片的確唔少但露荀就睇唔出, 應該有嘅只不過可能太細舊啫,
在相當舒適的環境中足足坐咗一粒鐘雖然,櫈後面的門開開合合了無数次!
那道門是出入餐廳與假陽台之間的門, 蛋糕櫃內的蛋糕好吸引但似乎咖啡只是一般, 下次有機會再來時印証一下吧!

是日跟好友吃tea, 來到passion by gerard. 此店屬於自助形式, 地方不大, 室內外共可容納三十多人, 走著歐陸式的優閒路線, 是挺美的. 可惜人太多了, 場內真的有點嘈吵, chit-chat有點難度.點選了la boule chocolate pistachio (HK$41), earl grey (HK$28).la boule chocolate pistachio, 鏡面的圓球, 造型美美的, 像一個水晶球般,絕對是一個藝術品! 試一口, 外層的choco cream很rich, 質感也很細滑, dark choco的味道非常濃郁, 很讚! 內層有著白朱古力蓉和開心果cream, 口感的層次配搭得很好. 底層的choco crunch, 香脆得來又帶來咬口, 就是要將整體的水準推向高峰.配搭甜點, 最佳的partner當然是茶. Earl grey用上JING的茶包, 試一口, 味道頗香濃, 帶有一點的回甘, 水温夠熱, 簡簡單單已很好.和best friend tea 一tea, 開心就是這麼簡單.
