From a handcrafted chair, the intricate wall to the " Noh" masks above the bar area, all are made and come from Japan.Most particularly, the chef who knows how to turn out the classic dishes as well as a few oustanding ones including my favourite: sea urchin uni foie gras, egg onsen on rice. Stunning combination!Moreover, Momotaro gives you the best bang for your buck!

Ordered two premium sets via Momotaro with high expectations given it's the priciest Japanese option on Ubereats. Pictures speak for themselves here. Will not order again and probably not visit the restaurant.

Momotaro rocks my socks for the following reasons:- Ambiance is upscale, but lunch is very relaxed. Staff was accommodating to us and our infant child. There was also a family near us who had children (between 5-10 years old) with them. Basically, good for weekend lunch, but best to keep kiddos at home for dinner.- Lunch portions are very generous.Most importantly, the rice dishes come with a lot of rice! There are a lot of sushi spots in HK that offer good quality fish but not enough rice. This is not one of those places!- That rice dish with wagyu beef, uni, egg, and truffle.If you're looking to splurge for lunch, GET THIS DISH. At $368HK it is filled with everything that is decadent and rich, and you need it in your life. Worth every dollar.With sizable lunch portions and delicious, Instagrammable offerings, I'm pleased to put Momotaro as one of my top 5 places for Japanese in Hong Kong.

Teriyaki chicken lunch was apparently Japanese free range chicken but it tasted like it had been frozen for a long time. The chicken was dry and was tasteless. Unpleasant and expensive. I won't be going back.
