Discovered a quaint and cozy restaurant called Hot Chicks on Kings Road, North Point when I was going for my evening walk, as the name suggests it is a chicken specialty restaurant with the quarter roasted chicken and the home made sauces being its specialty .Subsequently went for dinner with my family and was pleasantly surprised that they also have pork and fish in their ala cart and set meal menu, ordered the fish and chips, quarter roasted chicken and the baby back ribs. The fish and chips was nice and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and the homemade tartar sauce was excellent, they seem to add their own house spices for the fish marination which made it different from the fish and chips that you would eat in a typical British pub. The quarter chicken was awesome, soft and moist on the inside and the portion was pretty large, the peri peri and lemon sauce on the side made it a perfect combination, the ribs were as tasty and succulent as the ribs I have eaten in the US and the smoked barbeque sauce that came alongwith it made the ribs even more tastier. The service was brilliant and the owner was on hand to answer all queries and clarifications and was happy to share information on the food preparation, all in all an excellent experience, will certainly be going there again, soon.

Saw this new chicken shop listed on OpenRice so had to check it out because I love chicken and the name sounded Western. The location was rather odd because there are not many Western restaurants in North Point. That day I had two restaurants in mind, if this place didn't look good I was going to try Camden Town nearby, the Fish and Chip shop from Sai Kung!!!!When I got there, the logo and colour theme reminded me of JoJo Indian Cuisine restaurant. They serve roast chicken, brunches with a great choice of drinks. The restaurant was casual with smiley chairs.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Quarter roast chicken:I tried the roast chicken which comes with a choice of lemon sauce, BBQ sauce or Bacon red wine jus.As I was greedy I asked for lemon sauce and the bbq sauce. When the chicken arrived, it was on a sizzling metal plate which was quite different to what I was expecting because I was expecting it on a plate. The chicken was juicy and soft with lots of herbs rubbed on it but you couldn't really taste the herbs. The sauces came in separate bowls.Personally I liked the bbq sauce because it was tangy and the taste was quite similar to ketchup with some rosemary in it while the lemon sauce had a nice zesty tone but I did not like the coconutty taste in it.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★This is definitely a great place for expats to dine.◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎Price: $45Service: OKService charge: noYummy factor: okNapkins provided: noPortion sizes: reasonableGlass of water provided: yesEnglish Menu: YesAir Conditioning: YesMusic Levels: acceptable◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎
