中环实在是一个美食天堂,埋藏著很多大大小小的餐厅,除了人烟淍密的苏豪区,附近的几条街道也满布食肆,其中一间就是位于伊利近街街头的ENOMOD,他们主打地中海菜式及Social Dining Conecpt。到达门口时,有一条楼梯通上去,一踏进店里,即被几个大酒桶欢迎,初头还以为只是装饰,原来真是用来储存酒的。内里间格特别舒适,分为几个区域,有酒吧枱、高枱、梳化位及普通用餐位,很随和的样子,而且店主更特地介绍天花上的灯,是他自己用不同喉管连接整间餐厅的,营造出一个社交个性化的环境。先来点面包,其实亦不算是面包,是一些Cracker,蘸上的不是牛油,又不是油醋,是较特别一点的Hummus & Greek Eggplant Dip “Melitzanosalata”,前者非常幼滑,上面洒上少许辣椒粉,后者酸中带点烟熏味,但浓而不腻,两者配上Cracker,实在美味。另一款头盘,席间很多人都怕腥,但我却很喜欢,它就Spanish Paprika Sardines,又是酸酸地,洒上少许辣椒粉,再连柠檬一起吃,顿时什么腥味也感觉不到,而且满口是肥美的鱼油,小弟觉得不错的。Crispy Prawns真的很脆口,可是却十分清新,味道更是有趣,分别有加入橙皮及柠檬皮的味道,两者提供不同的味道给客人,最重要的虽是油炸,但却一点也不油腻。来到主菜Pan Fried Sole,肉质幼嫩,但没有烧焦的外层,感觉上极似油浸,而且还配上爽脆的西芹及油润的橄榄,整体都十分清新。3hrs Slow Cooked Australian Lamb Rump卖相精致,以三小时低温慢煮的羊腍肉非常软腍,而且泛现出鲜嫩的粉红又Juicy,配合香脆的开心果外层,口感丰富,羊膻味不算太浓,很适合我。Homemade Mediterranean Beef Burger on Focaccia是我近期吃过最好的Burger,肉质细致幼滑,肉汁丰富,加上味道十分浓郁,面包用上的不是一般的汉堡包,而是用上意式香草面包,令层次感更为丰富。Tagliatelle Mushroom Tomato Parmesan的Tagliatelle很al dente,蛋味亦足够,配上清爽的野菌、车厘茄及时巴马臣芝士,味道清新不油腻。另一款是Penne Genovese Meat & Marsala Parmesan Sauce,这道看似会浓味的,出来的结果却是相反。肉酱不油不腻,配合Penne的外型,令肉酱及时酱汁都藏进Penne内,十分美味。吃到此时,早在别饭前,店主特地示范怎样酿制Homemade Premium Valrhona Chocolate Infused Wine,材料原来十分之多,当然最重要的是Valrhona Chocolate,以78%的黑朱古力来做,另加入橙皮、肉桂及多款香料,盖上塞子后,摆放个多月才成。当晚有幸试了少许,味道酸酸甜甜,有点像话梅花雕的味道,十分幽香。最后的甜品,我并不知道名字是什么,但我只知道加入了薰衣草,质感很硬,而且我并未能接受以薰衣草来做的食物。其实这儿给予客人十分舒适的感觉,与几个友人一同到来,边吃边喝,真的不错。

沿著伊利近街的阶梯拾级而上,以一条铜管充当扶手,你就会进入 Enomod 的世界。 质朴的水泥及更多的铜管(很明显这些铜管围绕著整间餐厅)使空间平添了一份工业的粗犷气息,而暖色的木制家俱、带垫的扶手椅,及舒适的气氛则使这种感觉缓和起来。我们想 Enomod ,以其「社交晚餐」的卖点,主要客源应该是人比较多的圈子,想找个舒适而不太拥挤的地方作落脚点。 然而,这间餐厅酒吧也适合情侣或三五知己的小型聚会。不同大小的餐桌摆放的位置得宜,灯光设计得十分巧妙,有助营造私密感。酒桶、熟食柜台、大胆创新的餐具也为餐厅增添休闲的气氛。 店名 Enomod 其实是由「酒窖」及「现代」两字合并而成,从菜单及酒单中可见一斑。「社交晚餐」的哲学在于与人分享美食,而 Enomod 的菜式也是朝著这个方向设计。同样简单地,你也可以自选开胃菜、前菜、意粉、肉食及甜品,组成传统四道菜的意大利餐。餐厅也提供地中海菜,甫踏上楼梯顶端,你就可以见到陈列柜中放著优质的腌肉和芝士。之后还有酒桶,餐厅的葡萄酒就是从这里倒至大玻璃瓶。餐厅的熟食拼盘连甜无花果果酱非常美味,我们也很喜欢满满一碗的蕃茄酱煮蚌,比起白酒煮蚌古怪的浓烈味道好吃得多。蚌可以再丰满多汁一点,可是的确充满风味。这里的亮点是意粉,烹调得刚刚好,配搭辣椒及辣肉肠的较过咸的 puttanesca 好吃。如果肉桂牛肉送上来不是仅余微温的话,我想我们会更喜欢,但是辣味及杏仁片足以补偿温度不够。 我们很高兴来这里吃点小吃喝点酒,但餐单只提供少量酒类选择,似乎妨碍了来随便喝杯酒的客人们。大部份酒也是意大利酒,部份来自新世界,Bottle价钱为港币$400以上。 Big Sky shiraz 有杯装或一公升装,适合配搭大部份我们点选的食物。 这里的侍应服务周到,不会让客人感到有压力。员工会在适当的时候替我们斟水,当我们需要时会上前服务。 供两位用的套餐连数杯餐酒及服务费,约为每位港币$300至港币$500,如果点枝装酒的话会贵一点。考虑到餐厅的气氛、空间及食物餐酒的质素,价钱也算合理。

As usually a booking few days before and we where sure to have our table without to wait on line all night.The food here is super good, the quality of the ingredients and the simplicity of those Mediterranean contemprary dishes always make us happy.the Salads are a must to start with your dining experience, my favourite is the riccia salad or also the Nicoise, the only in HK with Sicilian style home made tuna in oil, delicious.together with the salads, some tapas style bites, all frome Mediterranean culture, South French seafood, Spanish sardines and zucchini (i love zucchini), Italian Marinated veggie, and a super tender lamb with pistacchio frome somewhere Libia or Libanon thats is close to be "charming"...all those dish are to share so is fine fo be a group, even the waiter didnt know what to suggest as far as the whole menu is signature and its all fresh made and good... and he was right.The pasta puttanesca was very well cooked al dente and so tasty, and the other dish we chosed was the cus cus with seafood, typicall of Sicily in Italy and the Moroccan coast (this was my favourite).we also tried a seabass with olive chips and a marinated 20 days steak, well, i couldn imagine that so siple recipes can come soo tasty if the products are this good.ps dont forget the desserts (they called threats served in jugs and allways with a touch.Drink wise, definitely go for the cabernet served in carafes directly from wooden barrels refrigerated, very good value wine. or try the refreshing white sangria.... soo good.cocktail wise, the list seems still on progress, they said something special.the service was good and the environment is cool.Ill go back for sure.

reservation was made in advance, so when i walked into the ENOMOD, with my friend from taiwan were being served without waiting to be seated. Matthew was our server, he's caring and polite to take our order, menu is friendly and clear to explain the characteristics and the ingredients of all dishes. i love all food i ordered, and i took the recommedation to try the 'cus cus' with seafood Moroccan style, i really like it.alumi cheese and zucchini rolls with sicilian sweet caponata is another must try dish, light and so yummy, made me so hungry now when i have to recall all the delicious and original dishes i had that nite. The Fish is a great mix of fishes, the pumpkin dessert is sth u can't miss. have to thank Matthew that he keeps on checking our glasses and help us to refill the water the whole evening. it's an enjoyabe evening in ENOMOD and i definitely will come again with my friends as i found that it's a very reasonable spending for the quality of the food i got, the atmosphere and the style of the restaurant. KEEP IT UP. BEING ORIGINAL AND CREATIVE!too bad the gals talk keep me busy and forgot to take pic of the dishes.

早前睇到Now TV Lifetival 介绍过呢间食地中海菜嘅餐厅,亦有听朋友讲过,所以一直都想去试下。呢日约左我啲best friends 饭局,正是好时机!餐厅在Lower Elgin, 不太容易找,但走到小斜路一抬头看到这幢蓝色小屋,虽然小路两旁十分local, 但也立即嗅到一种欧陆气味。从小楼梯走上去,装修很精致,不是豪华的那种俗气,但给人一种很chic很relaxing的感觉。与友人在看menu, 这里的餐牌很特别,特别不在于餐牌设计,而是食物分类: woods, stones, ceramics, copper... 其实是不同做法的tapas.我们一行6人,有2人突然通知会迟一个钟先到,tapas is perfect to kill the waiting time 所以我地点左4个tapas 同 1 litre Sangria ...White Sangria 是我第一次饮,在炎炎夏日so refreshing, 友人就觉得酒味略淡,但我不是酒精爱好者所以刚好 Tapas 我们选了6 hour lamb rump, Roma style pizza, zucchini fig n haloumi rolls, crispy prawns - one from each category. 起初也不太明白为何dish会分为4类,Dish 到左之后先发觉原来装住食物既container真系用佢嘅category嘅物料,如copper种类的dish个container真系用copper造⋯店主真系喺每一个细节都好有心思!讲番食物,lamb rump好好食,肉质好juicy, 再加旁边嘅pistachio crust令表面脆脆的,好好食!zucchini 亦好好食,sauce酸酸地好开胃。pizza 同crispy prawn 就中规中矩,但此店chef明显喺食材上颇花心思,prawn有加上citrus scent, pizza w ham n fig, 所以也有一点惊喜。之前见到啲人讲过此店portion细得很,没错这些dish portion是小份,但这都是tapas,我因工作及旅游也常会到欧洲,其实这也是正常的tapas size, 也真的不是特别小份,可能只是香港不太习惯tapas serving size.朋友终于到齐,多点了owner特别recommend的meatballs(polpette), 本身有啲犹豫因我从来唔钟意食meatballs, 朋友说试试吧就点了。meatballs出奇地好食,表面有啲脆,肉也juicy,特别喜欢肉里有松子仁,外面那sauce也很match。加点的roasted seabass也到了,鱼很滑,sauce也很开胃。我们的main course也上了 我们分别点了20days wet aged beef sirloin, cous cous, 2 pastas, roasted spring chicken。Sirloin 好juicy, pink centre, 但肉带一点点甜味,相信系citrus或者herbs, 我个人都是比较就咁grill, 因呢块牛扒本身quality已经好好,不过chef呢个煮法也其实很特别,看个人喜好吧Cous Cous is reallyyyy good, 我和友人都说一定会再黎食过cous cous! Pasta texture 好好,all al dente like in Europe,我真系好怕pasta 煮不到al dente, 可以好难食!本身不太爱西餐食鸡,因好容易煮到又干又「鞋」,友人点的,但roasted spring chicken 一点也不干,肉质也很滑,所以我也不抗拒。因与友人相聚,边吃边饮又倾又笑,其实也好像点得太多,我们也真的好饱好饱,但友人说甜品好像很特别,不可能不试,所以每款也点了一个。Spicy Tiramisu, Ricotta cheesecake, pumpkin crumble各一,我咁大个女都未食过辣嘅tiramisu! 真系好特别!当你把tiramisu放入口嘅时候,其实跟一般tiramisu无异, 但㖔下tiramisu后,突然有aftertaste, 轻轻刺下刺下你嘅喉咙,感觉好得意,说spicy其实一点也不spicy, 但那aftertaste感觉好特别。pumpkin crumble texture有少少似BB糊仔, pumpkin味很重很smooth很creamy, 友人们很喜欢。cheesecake跟一般cheesecake很不一样,因它是用ricotta cheese, 所以不会太甜,但ricotta cheese可能比较欧洲口味,不知locals惯唔惯,有一个友人就不太惯,但其他5人也喜欢。这时已饱到真系行唔郁!但系好开心嘅一晚!餐厅环境very relaxing, staffs very friendly, owner very nice, food very tasty & authentic w a bit of creativity, a really nice place to chill out, feels like home!We'll definitely back soon!
