Have only visited their restaurant once but I remember the wings being awesome and burgers overflowing and still great. It was no different this time around. The burger was huge, big piece of chicken within and cooked really nicely. The wings were definitely the highlight, so yummy, and so many flavours I wish I could mix and match. Overall pricing is pretty standard but a little on the high side. When the food arrived it was still hot. Highly recommended. Awesome flavours.

Let's talk about my 2am wing craving. Did I chow them down all by myself? Of course not! I was always with a bunch of floor buddies. If we had Empire Wings back then with all of these decadent flavors (a total of 10 different flavors!!) and giant burgers, the party would've gone on for so much longer! I love how these wings are drenched in these sauces yet they are still perfectly crunchy! On top of their signature Buffalo Wings, my fav would be the FIRE HOT SAUCE one, so so so addicting! That Buffalo Chicken Burger and its flowing blue cheese sauce was so fulfilling 😍 It must be something to do with the fact that the famed Brioche Buns (burger buns created by the 2-star Michelin Pastry Chef - Michael Gillet) soaked up all the juices! I also love how the burgers are so giant! Patty is thick and juicy, and the melted cheese plus bbq sauce are overflowing! That crispy onion ring too gives it such a nice crunchy texture!Order them for your next big house partayyy!

Boyfriend and I decided to stay at home one evening and watch the Oscars. Flipping through what we could order, we found a place called Empire Wings. A place that focuses on chicken wings. It said it brined them in buttermilk over night before drenching it in their secret spices before frying. This is probably the fourth such place that offers take away wings in Hong Kong: Wingman, Chicken Wings Mountain and Wings (now closed). I love chicken wings and I've tried them all except this new one. And that is exactly what I wanted. Chicken wings. So, we placed an order through the app. But apparently, it didn't deliver to my neighbourhood but contacting the shop, it was available for take away. So boyfriend did a pick up on his way over to my place. Boyfriend didn't have to wait long as the wings were ready when he said he'd arrive. It was packed very well so items were still warm when it arrived.Menu is found on their website. It's in English only. As it's take away, there is no 10% service charge. They offer 10 different flavors with a choice of 6 wings ($59-70) or 12 wings ($106-130). They also offer burgers and fries. But I only wanted wings so we chose 6 different flavors.First off .... the wings were quite large in size so you get a lot of meat to bone ratio. It was also super juicy! Like literally juices flew out and rolled down my hands. Yes, the best way to eat wings is with your hands. They were also very crispy despite the amount of flavoring that was rolled on top. All the seasoning was well coated as well. They did a pretty good job. They were just as good as Wingstop, my favorite place for take away wings in the US.Let's get down to the flavors we chose, shall weGarlic Parmesan ($59 for 6 wings). If you love garlic ... this is literally topped with a lot of garlic!!! Like freshly cut raw garlic. Boyfriend was in heaven because he loves garlic breath. There was a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese powder but that was mostly covered up by all the garlic.Smokey BBQ ($59 for 6 wings). This was our favorite. The sauce was sweet and savory. It had a slight smokiness that wasn't too much. Reminded me of the Heinz Tennessee Hickory BBQ sauce I bought one year when I went home to Canada. There was a lot of sauce and boyfriend dipped some the other wings in it to not waste it.Lemon Pepper ($70 for 6 wings). Literally, the flavor I seem to order every time I see it on the menu. Tried this place's version out. Pretty good balance of lemon and pepper without being too salty. Not many in Hong Kong do a good job. This place does a fairly good one.Buffalo ($59 for 6 wings). Seeing as they say it's their signature wing flavor, we ordered this. A bit spicy for me though boyfriend felt it was just perfect. There was a good tang but the heat slowly seeps through. It didn't come with a ranch sauce for dipping. Thankfully, I had a bottle of Hidden Valley in my fridge from a recent trip home. The points of eating at home some times ... I have good condiments.Ranch ($59 for 6 wings). These were like eating sour cream and onion chips. Very addictive and think I finished these off first;Cajun ($59 for 6 wings). Boyfriend always orders cajun when he sees it on the menu. These weren't as spicy as some places that have this so I was able to handle it. It was well coated and boyfriend definitely finished them all so quickly.The wings were really good. Juicy and well coated with flavor. The coating was still crispy. The wings were still warm when they arrived at my place. The orders were also ready when we told them when we'd arrive for pick up so there was no waiting time. Will definitely order from them again.
