Meatball Biryani 🧆🍚📍: Ebeneezer's Kebabs and Pizzeria, 1/F, Fong Shu Chuen Amenities Centre💰: $45 (HKU subsidized price)⭐️ : 7.5/10Review : If you are looking for halal food around HKU, this is the place for you! 😍 The rice is loaded with herbs and spices, but if you’re not a fan of herbs and spices, you’ll probably not like it 😔 There are 3-4 meatballs and they are good enough to compliment your biryani 🧡🔆 Fun Fact : Biryani is a mixed rice dish originating among Pakistanis and other Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. It is made by adding rice and spices to meat. (Wikipedia) 🔆

A healthy and tasty good choice at campus. Ordered Chicken salad for a few times, large portion at price of 36.5hkd. The salad is unexpectedly fresh and tomatos are sweet. The chicken is salted and taste good even no extra sauce is added. Carrots, cucumbers, tomatos...the color looks great too.

As an indian student away from home, I really miss homely food and ebenzeers is a great option on campus for Indian food.Tried out the dal makhani with rice, and the veg Biryani. The dal was really creamy and well cooked, the rice could have been a little better. The veg Biryani was a decent portion, and had a lot of accompaniments which were great.A strongly recommended place if you want to eat indian food on a budget.

I have been at HKU, and this is my favorite place to eat. The roast chicken salad is excellent, as well as the meat lovers roast chicken--which is sort of like Canadian poutine if you get chips and not rice with it. However, don't expect much ketchup! A squirt at best. I love the sauces that they put on salads and sandwiches, especially the mint sauce. Be patient with the guy who works the front counter: he helps with food and takes orders and runs the cash register. My friends and I think he's like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld--but, again, the food is worth the visit if you can get past that. They stop serving at 7:30 p.m., but that's not definitive. You can still get there at 7:25--and NO soup for you, to borrow from Seinfeld. The food, though, is prepared quickly.
