Went there this past weekend after hiking with some friends in Lamma Island. We were pretty tired and very hungry by the time we got to the restaurant (around 1pm), so we were looking forward to a yummy lunch.First, we waited at the entrance for like 10 minutes 'til someone finally had time to talk to us. The waitress didn't seem enthusiastic that we were there and was gonna seat us on the dingy-looking round leather seats by the entrance. We refused to sit there and asked another waitress for another table. In the end she moved the furniture around and managed to put 2 tables together for us. The table cloth for sure needed some ironing though!We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 main courses for 4 people. The Cantonese-speaking lady told us all food would take 25-30minutes, which we thought was ok. However, the whole meal turned into a never-ending wait!! First, we had to wait 15 minutes for the drinks, even though the grapefruit juice only came from canned juices! No water was served, so I had to drink my own bottled water since I was very thirsty after the morning hike!Then we waited for like another 30 minutes before a small basket of bread was served to us, and they didn't even give us butter! We didn't bother to ask since we were just too hungry, and who knows how long it would take them to bring us butter!?During this whole wait, e noticed no food was served to other tables either! We asked the waitress, and apparently they only have 1 chef preparing all the food!!Finally, some real food came after an hour's wait. The calamaris and prawns were good, but I guess anything would taste good given we were so hungry. And another 45 minutes later, our main course FINALLY arrived. We complained to the waitress several times about the wait, but there was not much she could do. The other people at the restaurant (mostly Westerners) didn't seem to be complaining though, maybe they were planning to spend the whole afternoon there.To be fair, I think the food at Cococabana was not bad, but the service was unacceptable, and the wait was just intolerable, especially when the bill came out to $250 per head! So if you have time to burn, you can give it a try ... maybe you can nap for a bit before your meal, or just sit and chat and enjoy the view of Aberdeen for a few hours.Also, if you are planning to go back to the Sok Koo Wan pier for ferries back to Central, be prepared for a long flight of stairs back up to the trail ... 继续阅读

This is a must-go for an absurd experience!!!!I booked a table at this place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, thinking that it would be a nice and easy excursion from the buzzing lifestyle of the HK island. The table for 2 was reserved 2 days prior; at the time of the reservation, the waitress mentioned that the patio is fully booked, so she will book me for the table right next to the patio.We took the ferry from Aberdeen to Mo Tat Wan and plan to arrive a little earlier than my 7.30pm reservation so that we can enjoy walking around at the beach. So at 7ish, we decided to make our way to the restaurant and have a nice dinner by the beach. However, when we were there, we were greeted by a part-timer waitress who had a weird expression on her face; with a 'why are these people here' look. I disregarded her dirty look and unfriendliness and informed her that we've made a reservation for 2 by the patio for 7.30pm. We stepped inside the restaurant while we wait for the part-timer waitress to call the manager; it was dark, and filled with mosquitoes. My poor boyfriend got bitten by mosquitoes all over during that short 5min. The tables on the patio were all set up, with candles lit, but all the tables inside the actual restaurant was pretty ugly and worn out and there is no way we are going to have dinner at this shabby dump. As the manager finally came to talk to us, she denied of taking any reservation, and have made no apologies whatsoever. We were appalled by her unfriendliness and attitude but after all, it was meant to be a birthday celebration, so we decided to leave the dump and not have this incident spoil our mood.No wonder there are so many unhappy faces for this restaurant! 昨天是第二次到此餐厅吃晚饭,第一次是前年朋友生日庆祝,那一次的印象是蛮好的,食物好味且环境确是无敌,周末与好友吃一过dinner,其实是一件很叹的事.好了,说回昨晚发生的事情,那是我与未婚夫搞的一个Bridal Party,一来是想与众兄弟姊妹16人一起吃一次饭,二来是下午时顺道拍一辑有阳光feel的Engagement Photo. 于是便选了Cococabana这个地点.昨晚是星期六,想不到餐厅是full house,我和未婚夫及摄影师朋友先行到埗,3点拍到6点多,但问餐厅伙计那一张是我们的枱,他说不知道....事实上餐厅内大部分枱面己经放上了留座的牌,哪我们的枱在那呢?不紧要,横掂其他人尚未到,只要6点前出现我们的枱就ok.最后他们是6点才搭出一张枱,真的不知道为什么其他客人尚未到枱就ready,但我们先到却甚么也没有. 晚饭8点开始,所有人也点了头盘及主菜,头盘先上,大家都觉很好味,也是满意的,大概9点吃完,之后的主菜却要等了45分钟,差不多要10点才有得吃,我和未婚夫真的不好意思要朋友饿著肚干等,问伙计点解要咁耐,他说是打工,什么也不知情,那就找身形略胖的女子,似是话得事,应该是经理那一类,她说因为今晚太多人,厨房上菜慢了,但要知道10:10pm是街渡尾班船,我们要离开就只有搭20蚊1位的舢舨,我问她有否歉意,她只连声抱歉,并说会跟船家给我们折头,更说请我们吃一打朱古力,即我们原本order了2打,现在送一打就了事,我告诉她我们是Bridal Party 的晚饭,她又说不好意思,如果知道的话会拣一张好嘅枱我们, 之后我眼见隔离2枱都走了上了尾班船,我们还是三扒两拨主菜.. 埋单前再叫了2酌饮品,埋单是$6400,这个价钱去铜锣湾吃,大把地方好味又不用一肚子气,跟著我跟那经理说食这餐饭很受气,我以后也不会介绍朋友来,她又只懂说对不起,还有一酌Sangria未上,我说不等了,不如退回cash给我,她又说很快就调好,5分钟前问你话ok, 现在你说立刻就有, 你真的当我们会算吗???她说不能退回$$$, 因为是签咭, 不如送多一酌再送旦榚一个补偿. 但是大家都想快一点离开而且船已经到,怎吃.... 上了舢舨, 原本那女人话同船家讲好有折头, 但人家说不知情, 那就上了那艘尤如贼船的东西回香港仔, 我和未婚夫也回头望著COCOCABANA的招牌连声叹气, 好似俾人禁住屈,奉劝大家如果平常入去吃餐饭都可以, 如果是特别庆祝如生日,那就不要太大期望, 而且价钱绝对不平. 估不到今时今日仲有一间咁无赖的餐厅, 大家不要那么傻慕名而去, 简直是同上贼船无分别耶^_^!! 继续阅读

我同女朋友庆祝生日我地o系索罟湾行去行到脚仔软,成半粒中建议大家搭街渡去到冇乜人食食下仲得番我o个张台当晚仲系礼拜日o既七点钟环境真系好好,对住沙滩食同埋d海浪声真系几正但d野食就一般价钱唔算太贵不过大家最好唔好o系网上订埋菜因为肯定仲贵过到时嗌 继续阅读

唔好意思呀,有样o野想更正一下;其实模达湾唔系小岛o黎o嫁,佢都系南丫岛o既一部份,邻近索罟湾。如果o系南丫岛行山,甚至可以由榕树湾或索罟湾为起点行过去添! 继续阅读
