it's very busy in soho tonight for some reasons.my bf and i wandered around to find a nice restaurant.Until we'r too tired to brother anymore,we saw this thai place. we thought that it can't be too bad for thai food. There we went.First, we ordered tempura tiger prawn with sticky rice in garlic chill sauce as a appetizer.For main course, we picked pan friend snapper fillet (wz same kind of sauce) n tiger prawns in curry wz eggplants. They all tasted really really terrible."Tiger Prwans" were some kind of frozen shrimps which are totally tasteless.so,the appetizers came out as some deep fried frozen shrimps in thick breaded paste wz green sticky rice. About the curry,again there'r no tiger prawns but shrimps wz shells (couple of those,some are shell-less).For the fish,the quality of the snapper isn't too bad.but the sauce is again not matched to the description on the menu.the sauce tasted like chinese style black bean sauce but 10 times saltier. Unfortunately,all the food i ordered are really bad,either tasteless or too salty.seriously,i even wonder if the chef has lost the sense of his own tongue

黎到呢间野已经8pm, 里面一个人都冇, waitress安排左我地坐一个位, 热到死, 后来发觉佢冷气都冇开, 大热天时, 连冷气都唔开, 唔怪之得一个人都冇啦. 我都唔理得呢度系唔系高级餐厅, 攞住佢个drink list起势咁put, 但系坐左三四分钟都唔见佢有动静, 要叫佢先识开冷气. 我地未叫野食, 佢就有dull虾片放系枱面, 但系食落, 好淋又唔香. 我地叫左一个木瓜沙律, 一个咖喱羊, 和一个冬阴功, 同一杯ginger ale同一杯ginger beer.木瓜沙律, 得个酸字, 仲系好酸好酸, 黎到好似有阵叔味, 曾经以为系呢碟野, 但不过食落又冇. 但系真系好叔. massaman lamb, 好有羊味, 又够膻, 但系完全唔淋, 只系个汁好食. 个冬阴公$68得个一碗字, 又系得个酸字, 又冇香味, 仲要冇乜料. ginger ale 得个甜字, 少少姜味都冇, 朋友个ginger beer都仲好少少.D野食真系好难食, 份量又食, 我地边食边话难食, 到最后因为太难食, 冇食晒就走, 真系走去食云吞面好过. 其实我地食到咁上下既时候, 间餐厅开始多人, 但系发觉全部都系鬼, 我谂真系鬼先会黎食, 因为佢地根本唔知泰国菜系什么一回事.埋单仲要$450, 把鬼.埋到屋企睇下其他人食评, 发觉有一个好, 但细心睇下先知原来最近一个食评都已经系2006.4.6. 我谂呢段时间都已经冇食家去过lu....

长州行完大运后,打算去soho揾食,原本想去soho spice,点知未开,兜了个圈发现呢度都系食泰菜,决定入去试试。学baby话斋,呢度D情调唔错,越夜越多人。餐前送了一大兜虾片,加埋D泰式辣椒酱,又脆又野味。柚子沙律-落了好多椰丝,椰子味太重,盖过了柚子的清香。冬阴功杂菜汤-比一般的冬阴功少了点椰汁味,反而我钟意。香炒软壳蟹-这碟价钱有点不值,166蚊得一只蟹,先将蟹炸过后,再加埋其他配料一起炒,所以软壳蟹是谂的,原来太谂的软壳蟹是唔多好食的。辣椒香草炒饭-估唔到这味是最好食的,炒得唔油,又爽身,好香泰式香料味,不过一点都唔辣。蜜汁炸香蕉配雪榚-太甜,不过食落好香香蕉味。连两枝SINGHA啤,埋单$566。

2005-12-10食物种类不见得特别,只是一般泰菜的选择。环境不错,坐位比较迫。星期六无book位,刚好有人走,等了三五分钟就ok。- 软壳蟹- 有点像炸鱼- 辣牛肉碎沙律- 酸酸辣辣,好味- 串烧(六串)- 猪肉串太肥- 泰式炒杂菜(无蕹菜)- 普通- 泰式金边粉- 不错- .... (不记得了)- wine of the week(红酒一小瓶)+ 1杯红酒- 2 x 饮品(fruit punch, mango mood)总括来说是不错,但也不是非常出色。PS 其他台一坐下来便有虾片,但我们的却没有,见没有收费所以也没有问了。

CHEDI又一间有颇情调的新派泰菜餐\厅. 当晚我跟朋友一共11人已经占了坐位的1/3, 加埋另外3张4-6人台, 就霸晒整个餐\厅. 餐\厅尽处有别有天地, 小小后园装修别致, 虽然只容得下一张餐\桌, 也算自成一角, 可以边吃饭边抬头看夜空也不错. 食物方面,柚子沙律的柚子很新鲜, 奄列饭很够味, 很不错. 炸虾饼, 菠罗炒饭, 串烧, 炸鱼饼, 软壳蟹都不算特出, 但ok. 饮品方面则教一般, 朋友点了说菠罗汁是“地满”货, 红莓汁亦只像黑加伦子汁. 店员态度不错, 有求必应, 亦有笑容. 后来食客渐多, 见她们有点倦, 但望到客人都会笑. 总括来说, 地方好, 食物okay, 招呼好, 都算系咁.
