A candle light dinner with a male friend.

Last night, went to this restaurant in Central. Two of us ordered the followings:1. Ceasar Salad with Shrimp2. Crab Chowder X 23. U.S. Sirloin Steak with Pepercorn Sauce X 24. House Red Wine5. One Bottle of Tsing Tao and One Bottle of CoronaI finished up the salad myself because my stupid friend told me he is too Chinese to eat salad, oh my god, what a moron since the salad is very very good, especially if you like heavy tasting, their Ceasar Dressing is one of the best I have tried.Then comes

Last night, went to this restaurant in Central. Two of us ordered the followings:
1. Ceasar Salad with Shrimp
2. Crab Chowder X 2
3. U.S. Sirloin Steak with Pepercorn Sauce X 2
4. House Red Wine
5. One Bottle of Tsing Tao and One Bottle of Corona
I finished up the salad myself because my stupid friend told me he is too Chinese to eat salad, oh my god, what a moron since the salad is very very good, especially if you like heavy tasting, their Ceasar Dressing is one of the best I have tried.
Then comes the soup, to me, if it is a little thicker then it will be better. The staff there suggested me to try their watercress cream soup which I should, maybe next time.
Then comes the steaks, a really good portion with perfect cooking. Both of us ordered medium rare and mine is perfect. I don't know about my friend's one but from the way he was keep eating, I believe it is perfect cooked as well. There are some fries and some vegetables come with it which is ok.
I ordered the House Red Wine and the first glass is not acceptable. But once I told the waitress and she is kindly exchange another glass for me and as a HR, that one is 90 points. My friend swallowed down the Corona and sipped through his Tsing Tao with a nice beer glass.
Over all, the food and service here is A grade. And when we ordered, the waitress told us that there is a promotion in April, food on A la Carte menu is all 50% off and Set menu is 30% off on all Saturday. With all the food we had, we ended up paying around $300 each person. And sure we will go there again in one of the Saturday to try their other stuffs. Oh, it is a really small restaurant, so better make reservation first. Honestly, I will prefer to have a candle light dinner in this restaurant with a pretty lady, lol.

好high tech既胡椒瓶!

一行五人到這裡午餐.環境舒適,客人談話也不會很大聲,只是音樂稍微大聲了一點.Set lunch: 湯/沙律 + 主菜(三個選擇$88/108/128 + 10%) + Coffee/Tea + 甜品(另加$20)今天湯是雜菜湯,偏濃的番茄湯底,加了一點Spanish sausage之類頗香的配料,很好喝.同伴點了雜菌多士沙律,聽說也不錯.份量很大的.今天的主菜選擇是茄子蔬菜lasagne, sole fillet和grilled pork tenderloin.我們全部都選了魚.份量不大,不過頗為新鮮.魚的外表有一層薄薄的pastry,煎得很香.忘了那個白汁是甚麼醬,不過有很香的芝士味,裡面應該也有加了點甚麼,因為texture是有一粒粒的.伴碟的是薯蓉,很香很滑,有加了香草(?),但不會覺得膩.因為個人不喜草莓,所以沒有選是日甜品,strawberry tart.他們的pepper shaker是電動的,而且在底部有燈!第一次開動的時候以為有火,可是怎麼不熱??(聲音很像火槍的.)第二次才看清楚原來是燈.蠻好玩的,不過有時候會塞住,失靈了.也是一個午餐好去處.是否因為比較新所以星期五

他們的pepper shaker是電動的,而且在底部有燈!第一次開動的時候以為有火,可是怎麼不熱??(聲音很像火槍的.)第二次才看清楚原來是燈.蠻好玩的,不過有時候會塞住,失靈了.

也是一個午餐好去處.是否因為比較新所以星期五也沒有滿座?

會再去的,也很想去看一下晚上的live performance.

    Backstage 我去過 2 次, 都係飲嘢.果度以 live music 為主流, 再配合高質數食物, 呢個賣點, 讚!!!佢哋0既 house wine, 紅白我都有飲過, 如果以 house wine 質數嚟講, 真係我飲過的最好.紅白都冇澀味, 唔 "那" 喉. 我個人就較喜愛白酒, 有陣陣荔枝果香, 絶對係易入口, 好啱女仔飲.雖然我冇食晚飯, 但都睇過佢哋個 menu, 設計編排很富心思, 用 chord, harmony... 等樂理名詞代替前菜, 主菜等傳統叫法, 讓你整餐飯都能陶醉於音樂之中.順便講吓佢個男厠, 設計意念來自 studio, 我覺得都几抵死, 因為有一大幅以 3 位著名音樂人照片做背景, 當你尿尿時望住塊鏡, 就好似有人監製住個你整個錄音過程一樣 而我去果晚算是屬低消費, $90 包一杯飲品, 仲有 live music.而佢哋每逄星期一晚就有 Monday Open Mic Night (開咪大典), 有表演慾0既朋友不妨去參與, 因為有專業音樂人為你伴奏, 好好玩

    雖然我冇食晚飯, 但都睇過佢哋個 menu, 設計編排很富心思, 用 chord, harmony... 等樂理名詞代替前菜, 主菜等傳統叫法, 讓你整餐飯都能陶醉於音樂之中.

    順便講吓佢個男厠, 設計意念來自 studio, 我覺得都几抵死, 因為有一大幅以 3 位著名音樂人照片做背景, 當你尿尿時望住塊鏡, 就好似有人監製住個你整個錄音過程一樣


    而我去果晚算是屬低消費, $90 包一杯飲品, 仲有 live music.
    而佢哋每逄星期一晚就有 Monday Open Mic Night (開咪大典), 有表演慾0既朋友不妨去參與, 因為有專業音樂人為你伴奏, 好好玩

    what a cool resturant

    It is a very cool resturant, although it's not big. The food is good but a little bit too slow and those ppl who work there don't know much about their menu in there. They don't hv much information. Different waiteror waitress will give u different answer which is not good.
