I had a nice dinner with my lovely buddies, and they have chosen a supposedly nice place that we could enjoy chatting ... yet it was so crowded that ... I felt yelling to my dear friends instead.
Back to the food, not that tempting overall.
APPETIZER:
Fries - Very, very small bucket with little cheese. And it was too soft rather than crispy.
Buffalo Wings - I was more preferred the side celery which was very fresh. Returning to the wings, there are numerous ... around 8-9pcs? But it was so-so, too much sauce and a little salty.
Margarita Pizza - Not impressive. It was not that hot. It was not crispy. It was not cheesy. The worst among all.
MAIN:
Pork Chop - Lucky that the main was good. It was a thick grilled pork chop and was just-just tender. The side pineapple and supposedly to be honey mustard sauce were good match since both were a little sour, so that the pork was less heavy as a main dish. Nice.
DESSERT:
Creme brulee - It was served in a long dish, we all wondered if it was served ... cold? Yet the sugar coating was over-cooked ... and burned ...
Apple tart with ice-cream - Not bad, the apple tart was still a little warm. And the ice-cream was milky ... just so-so.
DRINK:
I had that mocktail called 'Evil Princess' (my buddies said that's me, blah). It was a mixed juice, quite nice.
Compare to CWB branch, only the environment was better. The environment was really nice, in particular good for big gatherings ... however, I believed that there was room for improvement on better SERVICES. Similar restaurants like here do have far better friendly services, whilst everyone is paying the extra 10% service charge.
