+++++++++ Amore: panna cotta and mousse infused from real lychee and rose tea leaves. It was the perfect pairing of lychee and rose with a good balance because you could taste the fragrant lychee and the rose was not too strong.
+++++++++ Espresso: The 7-layered Espresso is made with espresso mousse, ganache and sponge cake. I loved the taste of this because you could taste the expresso but it was not bitter.
+++++++++ Guaiava: An 8-layered Guava cake alternating sponge cake, guava jelly, guava ganache, and guava mousse to create a very light and fresh cake. As well as the guava gelato, the Guaiava cake was also made with real guava. You can literally taste it in the guava paste layer.
Laid on top of homemade crunch pistachio shortcrust biscuit is a mouth-watering yellow dome made up of light mango mousse, mango pudding and real mango cubes. The dome is bright and colourful just like a kiss in the morning with a refreshing sweet mango taste.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ baby chiffon cakes : Maccha (green), Hazelnut (beige), Raspberry (pink) All of these chiffon cakes were soft and delicious, the hazelnut one was the best followed by the raspberry. The texture of these cakes are springy too, if you apply pressure to them, they will rise back.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Yuzu roll: Tried this semi frozen and I loved it because it tastes like icecream rolls with a fragrant yuzi taste. It would be great if they serve frozen rolls for summer or I should get one and put it in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving.

I have been to 2/3 Dolci 2 times. I think their gelato is really one of the best in town! So, when I heard they have the new caramel series before, of course I have to pay them a visit!Before me & my friends tried out the caramel cakes, gelato first is the way to go!!!!We chose 3 flavors: signature pistachio, peach & fig sorbet.Their pistachio gelato is still as good as heaven!! So rich & creamy!!! The peach gelato was very smooth & peachy. Just hoping some peach flesh would appear in it though

We chose 3 flavors: signature pistachio, peach & fig sorbet.
Their pistachio gelato is still as good as heaven!! So rich & creamy!!! The peach gelato was very smooth & peachy. Just hoping some peach flesh would appear in it though! The texture of the fig sorbet was interesting! There were real fig seeds in the gelato, which is so unexpected!
The caramel chiffon cake looked just like their 'Very berry chiffon cake'. The chiffon cake was covered with a layer of caramel flavored cream with a chocolate art piece of top. The chiffon cake was light & spongy! However, the caramel cream wasn't in a strong caramel flavor. The caramel flavor was pretty subtle! It's still a nice cake, but I won't go for it the second time.
The caramel flavor in the caramel cheesecake was a lot stronger compare to caramel chiffon cake. It wasn't too sweet or too heavy. It's just right amount of balance of caramel & cream cheese. It looked elegant & delicate with a white chocolate art piece on top.
After the gelato & the 2 caramel cakes, me & my friend seems still not satisfied! So, we ordered another cake, which I heard it's their signature cake as well! I want to try it last time!!
The 8 layers was very clear & easy to identify. Well...you know! Some layer cakes appear to be meshed up all together & can't see which is which layers. But they did a really good job in layering this cake. The cake was alternated layers of sponge cakes, guava jelly, guava ganache, and guava mousse. It looked very pretty with red & pink colors. It tasted in strong guava flavor, but not too sour or too artificially sweet. No wonder it's their signature cake apart from the pistachio one.

It's a good new to know that they finally opened 2nd branch at Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong! So much more convenient for people like me, who lives at Kowloon side. :D

The cakes are so appealing that I have difficulty in choosing two. A shopkeeper suggests the guava cake ($46) which is one of the shop's signatures. I take her advice because the cake with layers of red and light pink colours looks very pretty. It is indeed very tasty. The flavour of guava is outstanding and impressive.
The other piece I buy is the lychee & rose cake ($46) because these two flavours are two of my favourite ones. It not only has an intensive rosy colour, but also a balanced taste of lychee & rose. But I like the guava cake more.
The box provided for take-away is made of recycled paper with a lovely design and two wooden forks are provided. The shop deserves my praise for attaching importance to environment protection. Besides, the shopkeeper is very thoughtful. She uses adhesive tape to fix the small cardboards under the cakes to the paper box to ensure that the pieces will not move on my way home. I really appreciate her efforts.
