講完食物素質,其實整體用餐體驗真係爭少少🫠可能當晚係星期六特別忙,出菜速度幾慢,甚至第二輪叫嘅串燒同第一輪叫嘅一齊出,到中間待應已經建議我哋一齊過叫哂所有食物,之後叫已經做唔切。加上服務態度唔太友善,導致我要食完飯過行去對面食gelato gur返個人🫣

男友為左慶祝周年紀念預早左成個月訂,所以好成功訂到吧枱。店員都幾貼心,見我男友行到上去身水身汗,仲主動攞紙巾比佢!其實今次係我地第二次黎食,因為好耐冇黎所以都唔記得曬d野食種類,不過店員好主動咁介紹同推介佢地嘅食物,我地大約每人叫咗八到十串,食物方面整體味道係唔錯嘅,唯獨雞軟骨明顯係剪走咗燒燶嘅地方,味道好似無上次咁好食,仲有就係冇酒精嘅野飲選擇少左d 。不過氣氛好好同店員嘅服務態度好令我地都好開心好滿意☺️☺️

之前介紹過一街之隔同樣係yakitor串燒既Birdie,今次介紹番哩間—鳥匠,講番點解會比較鐘意Birdie多。鳥匠由裝修、氣氛都已經好唔同,燈光光猛,感覺似食omakase,而birdie個感覺係比較chill啲,自在啲。而食物方面調味比birdie輕手,差啲講句冇乜味,感覺似食一般串燒,食物質素無論色、香、味都比Birdie遜色。

Crappy and self-absorbed attitude towards customers. Raining outside and won’t let one customer in 5 minutes earlier than booking time even restaurant all set already. I left on the spot under this kind of treatment so not sure about culinary skills. But seems the chef’s basic business courtesy and IQ are definitely low. Suggest to go do some basic training to regain some common sense. Thumbs down big time!

The food there is above average. The chicken is in general very tender and juicy.Yet they have the worst services I have recently encountered. Impolite and inattentive staff with bad attitude. And they have 0 idea in the food and drink menu and couldn’t introduce a thing (or they simply do not want to?) I haven’t been to a restaurant with such terrible staff for a while. Will not visit again.

每次行過石板街都好想食,因為個門口好日本~​​​​行a la carte路線,唔錯既係,燒得幾好,以呢個location 呢個價位嚟講合格有餘,不過又因為係a la carte關係所以tend to叫啲好safe既野,chicken osyter都叫左兩轉,同內臟有關既野全部無叫~​​​​環境唔錯,全場應該得廿個位,private感夠,啲人感覺滋滋游游但又serve得幾好,好有日本感。然!後!!!又嚟到我最anti既open kitchen環節~😀登登登登~食完係無乜味的,yeah​​​

They don’t accept booking for 6 people per table although government allows 8 people per table. Waiter suggests booking two tables for 3 people and arrive early, and they can usually arrange two adjacent tables. When I arrived on time when the restaurant was still empty, they said we have to sit separately at two far end. And they could not give us adjacent tables because the one adjacent to ours had been booked for a party of six. Hey, didn’t you say you don’t accept booking for six people. Wai

When I arrived on time when the restaurant was still empty, they said we have to sit separately at two far end. And they could not give us adjacent tables because the one adjacent to ours had been booked for a party of six. Hey, didn’t you say you don’t accept booking for six people. Waiter said chef allowed that booking. And when I complained to the chef who is also the owner of the restaurant, he said “japanese please”. I am sure he knows English as I heard him communicating fluently in English with the waiters.
He is the most impolite Japanese I have entered worldwide. Your food is ok but not good enough for me to tolerate your arrogance.

🐔 There are a few items worth mentioning and remember there are daily specials on a mini blackboard which you are only allowed to order once. One rare item is the chicken oyster which is delicious and succulent, and if you want to know what chicken oyster is, feel free to ask me 😉

🐔 I particularly liked the chicken neck meat. Generally I’m not a bit fan of chicken skin grilled with sauce, as I like salt, but the one here is grilled nicely and the sauce is neither too sweet or strong.

🍙 The chicken liver is grilled medium rare, hence very smooth and desirable. There’s this part which is a section in the bum of the chicken (I forgot the name) which is delicious too, but rather fatty. The quail eggs are runny inside which is rare and the grilled rice ball is absolutely amazing!

📖 Once again this place isn’t easy to book so do so in advance, and you also have to put down a deposit 💵

冇得去日本,留港消費除了吃壽司之外,串燒亦係我的至愛。上星期去了北新地,並不是我杯茶,於是今晚到訪平民化一點的鳥匠。訂了7:30枱我7:15到,於是點了四五串雞串,等朋友來到就有得吃。主要食材有雞、豬、蔬菜,牛就很少。餐牌上亦有少量稀有雞的部位,但不是太多如果喜歡這種口味的朋友未必適合。食串燒同啤酒係最好嘅朋友。整個晚上和朋友飲飲食食氣氛很好食物請看照片

話說我嚟食飯嘅時候外面滂沱大雨,店員喺門口見到我好狼狽嘅情況即刻截住我唔俾我開門,一定要我喺門口scan左先至準入去,半隻腳差咗入去都要我出返去,真係爭在未用雙手推我出門口。仲要喺落緊大雨嘅情況企喺條街度抄個袋入面嘅電話出嚟嘅,先至能夠入到去,咁當然成身濕晒啦。嗰下已經嬲到唔想食佢啲嘢,奈何因為係一早約咗朋友喺呢度,被迫入嚟繼續。Rare cut 真係rare到乜嘢都冇,咁唯有問佢仲有啲咩啦,佢話俾你聽其實得三個選擇,吹脹!啲店員完全唔會理任何人,你最好快啲食完快啲走,用餐過程同食快餐冇分別,你叫咗10樣嘢就一次過上10樣嘢,係咁不停提你last order時間,總之就係要你準時還枱。

第一次寫評語, 因為實在沒有這種經驗。訂檯五點鐘,六點鐘服務員告訴七點要用膳完畢。6點15分需要last order。6點30分點了一杯酒,服務員說已經過了last order。我說一杯酒用不了30分鐘總之七點離開便可以了吧?服務員如臨大敵。理論一番後,終於同意給我一杯酒。食物是不錯的,但是整體態度讓客人覺得你並不是在用餐,而是要趕在指定時間內完成。我不覺得我是客人,反而是敵人。這種態度,食物有多好也是於事無補呢。

Been here quite a few times and food quality is always guaranteed, consistent and delicious. This time coming with 2 friends and for the first time trying their quail eggs on skewers. When they arrived, they looked very raw and I took a first bite, it was very runny, not just the yolk but the white, too. So I asked the servers if they could cook them a little more (I couldn’t eat raw eggs at this stage as I’m pregnant), server went check with the chef and the response was ‘sorry they are suppose

I’m fully aware of the fact that certain food has to be cooked in a certain way and I’m a big foodie, and eat almost everything and if I’m not pregger, I would have totally eaten/enjoyed the quail eggs without problem but I just can’t with my current state. If it’s written on the menu that the quail eggs are runny, I would have skipped. I ordered tsukune too and I skipped the raw egg,. Just thought as a reputation restaurant like Torisho, one should take into consideration customers dietary need better. May be it’s me too as I always have great experience dining at Japanese restaurants, always with superb service and hospitality. As I said, food was great just thought they could be a bit considerate with customers need. Now that I know I won’t order quail eggs again when I next visit.

今次要介紹嘅餐廳係位於中環嘅鳥匠,主打稀有部位嘅雞肉串燒。吧枱嘅座位可以欣賞到日籍師傅炮製串燒嘅過程。鳥匠亦係香港少數擁有炭火煮食牌照嘅店舖。整體而言,餐廳嘅氣氛較為嚴肅,質素位於中等以上。以串燒而論,我哋比較喜歡鄰近嘅Birdie。
Yakitori Torisho is located in Central and specialises in Japanese chicken skewers with rare parts. You can enjoy the process of grilling by Japanese chefs from the high table. Yakitori Torisho is also one of the few restaurants in Hong Kong that has a charcoal cooking license. Overall, the atmosphere is relatively formal and the food quality is above average. In terms of skewers, we prefer the nearby Birdie.

鶏胸肉の桜〆(Low Cook Chicken Tender Sakura marinated) $78
雞肉刺身嘅表面有輕輕煮過,質感軟熟,容易入口。配上櫻花啫喱,味帶清新嘅前菜。
The low cook chicken tender has a soft texture. It is marinated with sakura jelly which gives a refreshing and appetizing flavour.

かしわ (Thigh) $42 | そりれす (Chicken Oyster) $45
雞腿嘅表皮鬆脆,內裡則嫩滑多汁。後者為稀有部位,相對雞腿質感富咬口。我哋較偏好雞腿。
The chicken thighs have a crispy skin while tender and juicy inside. Chicken Oyster is a rare part and has a richer texture than chicken thighs. Comparatively, we both prefer chicken thighs.

つくね (Ground Chicken Meat) $45
雞肉棒內混入了大量富有咬口嘅軟骨,配上蛋黃滑溜黏稠嘅質感,兩者相輔相成。
The ground chicken meat is mixed with a lot of crunchy cartilage, which is complemented by the smooth and sticky egg yolk.

やげん軟骨 (Soft Bone) $38
這款雞軟骨帶有一絲雞肉,款式以至味道皆較普通。
The soft bone tastes not much different to other yakitori restaurants.

ベーコンチーズ巻 (Pancetta & Cheese) $45
火腿味道唔會太鹹,配上拉絲嘅芝士。
The pancetta is not too salty, and it is served with melty cheese inside.

ぼんじり (Tail) $38
雞尾肥嫩,油脂感十足,質感外脆內軟。
The chicken tail tastes fat and tender. The texture is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

せせり (Neck) $45 | だきみ (Breast) $42
雞頸質感爽口彈牙,令人有驚喜。後者則不過不失。
The chicken neck has a chewy texture, which is surprisingly good. The chicken breast tastes ordinary.
