這是本人的第一篇食評, 如寫得不好請勿見怪! 兩個人叫了一個天婦羅炸蝦掛烏冬, 一個什麼十勝豚肉飯+冷烏冬定食, 一客餃子.味道先說天婦羅炸蝦掛烏冬, 很普通, 一般水平, 烏冬不太好, 不太滑, 如果此店主打是烏冬的話, 真的不及格.那個十勝豚肉飯, 豚肉超"鞋", 冷烏冬的汁淡如水, 難道這是獨特風味嗎?餃子感覺像翻叮的, 毫不香脆, 連放餃子汁的碟子也不提供環境尚可, 一般日式餐廰感覺.服務這十分重要, 特別是日本菜的服務水平通常是最好, 但這裏就........首先為何有這麼多"吉"枱, 還要所有人坐埋一齊, 才是星期四, 有那麼多客人嗎? 又不將四人枱拆成兩人, 很不習慣.需然沒有收加一, 但連茶也沒一杯, 好像是迫人叫飲品, 很無良.衛生如新開不足一月就有問題就慘了抵食這是跟以上四點總結出來的, 所以抵食程度只有三分.建議希望餐廰能有茶供應, 加一其實是應該的, 不是快餐店吧!食物味道改善一下, 款式不要跟其他食肆太相似吧! 如果沒有任何變更, 以這餐廰的位置, 當K11商場開後, 應很快結業吧!

先說天婦羅炸蝦掛烏冬, 很普通, 一般水平, 烏冬不太好, 不太滑, 如果此店主打是烏冬的話, 真的不及格.
那個十勝豚肉飯, 豚肉超"鞋", 冷烏冬的汁淡如水, 難道這是獨特風味嗎?
餃子感覺像翻叮的, 毫不香脆, 連放餃子汁的碟子也不提供

環境
尚可, 一般日式餐廰感覺.

服務
這十分重要, 特別是日本菜的服務水平通常是最好, 但這裏就........

首先為何有這麼多"吉"枱, 還要所有人坐埋一齊, 才是星期四, 有那麼多客人嗎? 又不將四人枱拆成兩人, 很不習慣.

需然沒有收加一, 但連茶也沒一杯, 好像是迫人叫飲品, 很無良.

衛生
如新開不足一月就有問題就慘了

抵食
這是跟以上四點總結出來的, 所以抵食程度只有三分.

建議
希望餐廰能有茶供應, 加一其實是應該的, 不是快餐店吧!

食物味道改善一下, 款式不要跟其他食肆太相似吧!

如果沒有任何變更, 以這餐廰的位置, 當K11商場開後, 應很快結業吧!

Actually, 香之香 is only one shop,
their are no branch in Hong Kong .
「香之香 in 香港」 is not a 「香之香 in 日本」’s branch.
「香之香 in 香港」 assumes that 「香之香 in 日本’s 首家分店」.

Ladies and Gentlemen in Hong Kong,
be careful 盗版「五十年老字號」、
be careful deceiver.

If you can't believe my word,
you can ask your Japanese friend to
call 「REAL 香之香 in 日本」,
and see if it is true or not.

看過menu,我都想點咖哩烏冬的,不過當日很炎熱,吃個凍烏冬似乎比較適合呢!好!就點一個凍烏冬配十勝豚飯的set吧!老公就要了個吉列炸蝦天婦羅湯烏冬!他一向吃烏冬和燉奶都堅持要熱食,這樣才好吃!我劬沒他好氣,點凍烏冬!應該能"下火"吧
等了五分鐘,烏冬就隨隨送上了!凍烏冬很吸引,是用一個盤來盛著的!加上了蔥和薑蓉,還有烏冬汁!我先吃了一條,烏冬果然與眾不同,很彈牙,味道新鮮!可能與水源有關呢!汁就比較淡,如果咸一點會好味!再吃個十勝豚飯,飯也不錯!最好的是souce,很惹味!豚肉有兩片,味道鮮!
老公的吉列炸蝦天婦羅湯烏冬也好吃!熱烏冬更加好!湯底都清清的!吉列炸蝦天婦羅就是預先炸好的!所以比較稔!小食就要了珍寶腸,一大條,而且上面加了其芥辣和蕃茄醬十分醒胃
最後我們再加了個黑芝麻雪糕!$20一個小球,不過有點失望,奶味卻比芝麻味濃呢!不太recommend大家點!

喜歡吃烏冬的朋友不可錯過這個日本地道烏冬店-香之香!

The udon is really bad.We ordered a curry udon... when it arrived we were so surprise, there is no other indgredient accept curry sauce and two piece of carrot. What pay $40-50 for a curry saucse udon.The cold udon is very soft & not tender at all.The pork rice is cold and the sauce did not go well with it. Big bowl of rice with 2 pieces of pork... Real Bad

我在附近做野,所以其實呢間我都食過2次晚飯,午餐就唔知係點la,但又無佢地講到咁差...d烏冬係要食凍個d先會比較好食,凍個d都幾彈牙,可能熱個d無咁好食...我食左個set,個菜餅飯都幾好味,單叫天婦羅蝦都ok,水準一般la,但以呢個唔貴的價錢,其實我又覺得算幾好,不過可以再進步的地方就係d服務,其實唔係唔好,係佢地仲未熟手,我以前part-time都做過飲食業,所以我睇得出佢地只係未熟手唔係有心的...同埋可以安排番個reception就好了...

打正旗號做烏冬店, 所以今日特登同同事去試新野. 中午時間, 預咗要等位. 門口冇reception, 唯有入去問同攞位, 入到去, 同個staff講兩位, 跟住佢就mark低咗, 但冇任何枱號或者紙仔o既物體俾我地, 問佢有冇number俾我地, 佢話冇, 咁我問, 咁我點知幾時到我地, 跟住我同事問佢, 我地係第幾張枱, 佢話第5張, 兩位o既就第2張, 個職員話已經mark低咗, 咁唯有係咁啦. 我和同事各叫了一個set, 一個set裡面有一碗烏冬, 一個飯, 我就叫咗個豚肉飯, 我同事就係牛肉飯, 但個鯛魚汁, 我覺得似豉油多o的, 冇香味. 不過個豚肉飯唔錯, 豚肉好香, 不過得2塊, 好明顯係用個飯同個烏冬食飽你. o的烏冬亦唔見得彈牙, 如果想用佢o既烏冬做出個名堂, 都幾難, 因為名不符實. 有一樣要提o既係, 我地坐低叫埋野, 到個餐到咗, 都仲未有一杯水, 要我同事叫先至有, 起碼15分鐘.到埋單, 果陣時大部份人已經走晒, 已經唔多人. 我地張枱只係叫兩個set, total$96, 我同事俾$100紙佢, 照計埋單應該好快, 不過又要等, 等緊期間, 我見到有

見到香之香, 令我記起向日本食過既彈牙烏冬. 所以就帶埋朋友來試下.我叫了一個溫烏冬 (中), 個鯛魚汁很淡, 烏冬也不彈牙, 好似在食緊白煮烏冬.朋友叫了一個TEMPURA烏冬, TEMPURA是不錯, 不過烏冬及其汁真的淡得可憐.沒有做到佢地所說的香.我以為自己叫錯野啦.點知連隣台的日本人也好像我們一樣, 滿心以為會食到好食既鳥冬, 點知佢叫既腐皮湯鳥冬的湯都是淡淡的. 連最唔易出事既關冬煮也做得不太好, 佢咬了一口便放低唔再食. 有見及此,雖然我們食完還很肚餓, 不過見個勢色甘唔對, 所以我地都係唔再加ORDER了.

Happened to notice this place as we were walking down Hanoi Road the other day - apparently another new restaurant selling simple kamaage-udon and rice dishes. As the place was fully packed during the lunch hours, we decided to come here with a few other friends for dinner instead. The place was decorated in a simple way, with adequate spacing between tables. As the place was still relatively new, everything appeared bright and clean. Happened to notice this place as we were walking down Hanoi Road the other day - apparently another new restaurant selling simple kamaage-udon and rice dishes. As the place was fully packed during the lunch hours, we decided to come here with a few other friends for dinner instead. The place was decorated in a simple way, with adequate spacing between tables. As the place was still relatively new, everything appeared bright and clean. A glance at the menu revealed that there were not many choices for food other than udon; the udon could either be served with a "hanging" sauce or in a soup. There were also a few side dishes and appetizers that one could order to go with the udon. Drink list was downright disappointing, with little choices other than canned soft drinks, and nothing remotely alcoholic in nature was in sight
. As most of the items were quite reasonably charged, we ordered the following items:

Udon in a special hanging curry sauce (秘製咖喱掛烏東)
Udon with poached egg and yam puree in soup (長芋温泉蛋鳥東)
Basically the udon were fine, really tangy, and they were cooked just right to give the correct texture
. The poached egg was also nicely done, being imported from Hokkaido, and was quite fresh and rich in egg flavour
On the other hand, the curry sauce was neither hot nor spicy, and was definitely not very "special" in our opinion. Likewise, the soup was a bit on the salty side, and we also suspected that it was not MSG-free as claimed by the proprietors.
The udon and poached egg are worth trying, but we think they should really work on and improve further the sauces and soup.

Assorted tempura (雜錦天婦羅) - with the usual shrimps and mixed vegetables etc. only good thing was that the batter used was not too thick, otherwise an ordinary dish with no major surprises. Could probably be skipped unless you are a great fan of tempura.

Potato and beef croquettes 炸薯餅(牛肉)
- not bad, being freshly made and cripsy on the outside while maintaining the moisture in the inside. Not much evidence of "beef" inside, though. Worth a try.

Seaweed (碎海草): likely a form of kumbo, this one turned out to be the worst item of the night - with a dark green and unappealing appearance, these tiny pieces of seaweed had a very "tough" texture, and tasted bland, which meant that probably they had been hanging around for some time already. Totally not worth trying in our opinion.


Kandodaki (關東煮- 魚餅,淮山卷,竹輪卷): ok, this is really a difficult dish to mess up with really, although we wish they could be a bit more liberal with their seasonings... ...

We feel that this is a place that may be more suitable to come for lunch than dinner, as there are really far too few choices on the menu to choose from. As for us, at the end we decided to finish off our dinner elsewhere, and we ended up having a really great time, but it would take another review to tell the story ... ...
