I went here with my friends/ classmates on Saturday after Cantonese class. One of my friends had heard from a helper that this was the best place to go for Filipino food, which doesn't surprise me, as it's like one of only two places in town that does it, though the owner here I've heard is Indonesian. We also got a seafood appetizer platter (not pictured, I forgot). All the seafood was fried. It had whole mussels in the shell, shrimp, squid, and fish. The fish was the favorite at the table, so if you want to order just one seafood appetizer, I'd go with that. The platter also came with a potato salad, but that was freezer-burned and had clearly just come out of the freezer, so big thumbs down on that one.
I certainly thought the food here was fine. The menu is extensive and not everything they make is the best rendition of that dish. I'd recommend sticking to the things that are hard to find elsewhere, especially the adobo, and the pata if that's your thing.
