There was only 1 staff working in the restaurant.. she was extremely polite and hard working… was there from 19:00-00:00… only 5 customers for a Friday night.. did the $380 all u can drink with no time limit.. there was around 8 sakes that u can pick from.. food was extremely over priced… portion was ridiculously small.. everything was frozen.. either made from air fryer or electric stove… entire bill came to around $2400 for 3 people.. if you are just looking for free flow sake.. Yumi San, the sake kikisake shi (唎酒師）is always reliable on recommending suitable sake to our taste. SakenoWa was forced to suspending their sake bar business under the bar restrictions under pandemic lockdown and finally they are reopened over last weekend. We especially come to support Yumi San with our Japanese friend tonight after dinner. We tried out the premium sake set with the following 3 sakes:1) Dassai Jumai Daiginjo 23%2) Miyakanbai Junrei Junka Junmai Daiginjo 35%3) Gangi Sekirei Junmai Daiginjo 35%Comments on the sake:All 3 sake are very elegant, mild sweetness with strong rice aroma. We came here for the food but stayed for the sake. We tried the Premium Sake Set and you gotta order this when you pay a visit. The set includes the well-known Dassai Junmai Daiginjo. However, the most astonishing one that comes with the set was the Ganji Sekirei Junmai Daiginjo. The aftertaste of it was kind of smokey yet it went down my throat extremely smooth. It was a very comfy environment in terms of Japanese izakaya. I went there with my friend with two empty stomachs and the food there was great - highly recommend the deep fried chicken and takoyaki. Their food portion is enough for two people. They do have a large variety of sake and alcohol. This place offers a wide variety of sake, from Jisake to big brands, from Honjozo to Junmai Daiginjo. You can order by glass, by serving (ichi-go) or by bottle. Except sake, they also serve Umeshu, Shochu, Beer, Whisky...The service here is excellent, you can get a lot of information from the staff on the sake you are drinking, and there are books on sake for you learn more about sake.There's all you-can-drink on every Saturday and their happy hour goes from 6pm to 9pm.
