Since 1988, tmtplaza has been noted as the largest shopping mall in the Northwest New Territories. Transport networks include bus services to various parts of Hong Kong, including express services to Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, West Rail to Kowloon and the Light Rail serving the western New Territories.
