This Food Town in Chuk Yuen Plaza is definitely a hidden gem! Thai skewers, Taiwanese bubble milk tea, and much much more. Highly recommend a visit for inexpensive food hunting here.My friend and I visited 潮煲饭 after a hike that finished at Tsz Wan Shan. I was so amazed by how they make clay pot rice with just a metal pot and induction stove! Yet the burnt rice at the bottom, the taste and aroma of the pot rice was definitely as good as the real clay pot rice, if not even better!I chose this Eel and Chicken Clay Pot Rice. The eel was very meaty; and the chicken was very, very tender! The bits and pieces of Chinese sausage added so much flavour to the pot. Nom Nom Nom.Would definitely love to visit again to try out their homemade soup next time!

有次街市游乐团中 无意间发现这间家庭式小店 睇见这夫妇辛劳地工作 心谂已经好少再见到这类小店 所以决定试试 先讲价钱 非常合理 有些套餐可说是很便宜 再讲讲味道 我暂时只食过两次 最爱系酸菜鸭饭+炖汤套餐 炖汤亦有三款选择 饭略为油左少少 但因为加左腊肠碎 所以非常入味 而炖汤系好足料 味也不算太多味精 有家的感觉 坦白不算是超级好味 但以这价钱来讲 已非常高分 值得再食 临走时同这夫妇讲我会再来食 但第二次食已经唔记得左我 哈哈 唔紧要 这代表好生意嘛！希望多点继续支持香港小店 加油！

绕场一周，最终锁定要吃煲仔饭！煲仔饭即叫即煲，等了20分钟有多，时间比较长。上枱时一开盖，香气四溢，令人垂涎！招牌煲仔饭有腊肠、润肠、腊鸭及腊肉，材料够晒经典又简单。由于所有材料都有一定程度的脂肪，煲仔饭充满油光，闪闪发亮！煲仔饭的材料全部都是腌制食物，所以没有加豉油，已经够咸！腊味油润丰腴，饭粒柔润带烟韧，美味又鲜香。吃到底有微微饭焦，口感香脆，又不会太硬！估不到这个街坊美食广场竟然有这样质素的煲仔饭小店！

今天要到朋友家中取一些东西，于是便相约一起晚膳。刚巧今天落雨，朋友有车便顺道接我收工再回他家里拿东西。由于雨势加大，所以他拍好车后就带我到相连的平台街市揾食，全程有瓦遮头，不怕被淋湿！朋友想吃煲仔饭，我不太喜欢，于是点了一个萝卜牛腩饭。Wa!牛腩肥瘦适中，肉质松软滑腻，炆得入味。萝卜吸收汤底精华，清甜而且带有牛腩味，捞饭够晒滋味！最惊喜是饭竟然是用煲仔即煲再原煲给客人，跟平常一碗碗的白饭有所不同。

Went here for the green algae noodles but ordering was super confusing.The lady kept saying this and that wasn't available and this and that wouldn't match the broth.But I suppose she was right because the one she made for me ended up tasting so damn good.The quality of the fish was really fresh and even though it was spicy you could still taste the fish.The algae noodles were not as elastic as anticipated because I was worried the texture would be like konjac.Also had the soup which was clear and oil free.While sitting there, I was fascinated by the huge bag of noodles.Will definitely be back!
