客家爺爺 (已結業)

This is a pleasant find - there is hardly any Chinese restaurant in LKF, although this is at the top of Wyndham Street. It was worth the climb from Central. We had a little quiet corner whcih is separated from the rest of the restaurant, and this corner has 2 tables only.The food was good, service was attentive. Will definitely come back again.

Came here for dinner to celebrate Moon Fest. We ordered 蒸蘿蔔丸子, 爺爺手打魚丸清湯, 爺爺鹽焗雞, 爺爺釀荳腐煲, and 青瓜糟汁蝦. Everything was good, particularly the chicken. I also liked the taste of the shrimp and the sauce. The raddish ball was quite unique. We were given 涼粉as dessert and the bill came out to be $600. Service was decent and the restaurant was comfortable and clean. Definitely worth going again!

昨天同事生日話去中環食客家菜，本來真係好唔想去，對客家菜又沒有什麼興趣，但係同事生日沒辦法。但係去到餐\\\廳的感覺很不同,訂了8點枱，去到已滿了一半，我地8個人坐在sofa位,非常舒服，環境好relax乾淨,食物又好食。食物方面，我推介給大家的餸:是日例湯--野葛菜生魚，夠火喉!豆腐煲--黃豆墊豆，很香!咸蛋黄抄南瓜漕汁炆米粉蝦米豬肉釀涼瓜侍應生的服務很親切，很好禮貌，幫我地唱生日歌和砌蛋糕。食完生日蛋糕還有生果送。我啲同事食生果，我叫咗侍應生推介的鄉下涼粉，好好食!值得再去!!

食物賣相ok,味道嘛嘛!!全冇驚喜,午飯時間食,上菜勁慢完全唔適合跑午市,令我們一班同事要遲到.除非你午飯係食個半鐘,否則都唔適宜去食,總括來講得個貴字,冇一樣野直得去食,睇d相及環境好似幾好,但去到又另一回事.已經叫了他們好幾個招牌菜,但都冇一樣值得我去推介大家去食.

Hakka Ye Ye was a great ethnic dining experience.The ambiance felt elegant, especially in the evening. The modernist renovation was both tasteful and pleasant.The service was very upscale - the staff members were polite and attentive.The Hakka food was great. We really enjoyed the hand-made fish ball soup, the dual-colour fried rice, and the pork meatballs. However, we found the fried mushrooms dish to be bad value for money. Overall, this is a great restaurant, especially for dates.

間唔中都會同同事過中環食Lunch﹐個邊企理D 又價錢合理既中國菜就比較少有﹐所以見到開左新0野都想試下﹗裝修幾好﹐個LOGO幾得意... 我地點左set lunch 既雞and 炒米粉﹐份量好0岩女士(但男士可能會嫌少?)。個老火湯好好飲﹐無味精。個糖水就OK啦﹐雖然無乜特色。不過好彩我同事預先打去留位而且比較早去﹐因為到13:00左右就開始多人﹐而且似乎好多人都book 左檯。雖然無乜驚喜﹐但$88 一個set 係中環算average﹐又坐得舒服﹐我都會再去食過﹗

Finally there is someone who did things right. Hakka Ye Ye did a great job in providing authentic Hakka food with a great modern decor, and keeping the cultrual background. The food portion is a bit small but that's good for a small party of people to visit. This allows me to taste more vierity of dishes, but yet the price is not expensive for the LKF area. I recomend the Chicken, daily soup, and the apetizers. I like the shrimp dish too, but don't like taking the shell off with my hands.

看了飲食男女介紹中環開了間客家菜,所以約了幾個朋友昨晚去食飯試試。很驚喜地這間餐廳的環境、食物和侍應的服務都是我意料之外。餐廳氣氛很浪漫又有傳統風味，裝飾算是非一般，每枱上都放有紅洒杯，好像一間中西合併的餐廳般。不過可能是這晚很多人，我覺得餐廳環境的聲浪大了一點。食物方面很新鮮餸菜又熱，我和我啲朋友最鐘意係隻雞,水準好高,雞有鮮味又潄滑,好味!必吃! 我們叫了四份湯,一個炸蘿白丸子,一隻雞,梅菜扣肉和侍應介紹的漕汁蝦。推介必吃:老火湯霸爺雞青瓜漕汁蝦服務方面算不錯，侍應經常幫我們加水和換碟。食完還有糖水送。埋單價錢不貴，在中環食中菜來說算合理價，食得舒服，低食。

-首先去到覺得裝修都幾好-服務...好少待應生....同埋佢地一路行就梗係唔會周圍幫下有無有揮手,我地同d friend 揮左5分鐘先有人理-茶係要收錢,不過其他野飲(酒以外)選擇太少-食物種類太少,叫左個雞,算係最好食,不過....無咩特色-樣樣食物似係家常小菜...是日例湯:冬瓜雞...唔錯...加分送甜品,又係無特色的生果/糖水只係裝修有fusion feel,野食就無咩特色....

First of all, this was my first time to eat Hakkaese in Central.When I walked inside the restaurant, the manager(I supposed) & waiter was serving me hyperly.
