Before Grasshopper Concert, we had early dinner here. We arrive at 5.45pm, and wait for 10 mins then after we've been seated, the queue outside was so long!
Anyway, this shop was fill will "sea" smell.. or those non cook fish smell. I think is because they have those fresh fish on display, and they cut open those fish in within the sushi belt. Personaly I don't like this smell, and I don't really like them cutting up the fish in front of me, but that's their selling point!
Their sushi, well, variety seems not many, but they are creative... some of it I think is too creative - ie. putting different kinds of sauce onto the sushi itself, eg. one is the cheese prawn maki... the maki itself have egg and crab stick inside, then onto is the prawn sashimi and on top of the prawn, is a piece of "karft" cheese... gee.. I think that's creative, but not really match.
Their selling point are the freshly cut up sashimi... every 15 - 20 mins, they will make announcement saying whats been cut up and only provide few dishes... so ppl have to raise hand in order to have those fresh sashimi or sushi... I really like that part.. but one problem with that is the announcement is not loud enough.
Overall, the food here are fresh but variety not much.
