The people who runs this "vietnamese" restaurant, took over the business from what was once a very popular wonton noodle restaurant. After taking over the original business, they ran the business for another 6 months or so. It was then converted to the current vietnamese restuarant.
As with any Pho noodle, the key is in the broth, the noodle, and the complimenting sriracha hot sauce.
Having tried this place a few times to give it a fair chance, I've concluded that this place fails consistently to provide a nice clear and flavorful beef broth. It is nothing to that of the real thing, but rather more of water, salt, msg and cheap flavoring.
The noodles, are nothing to the real thing.. Hor Fun rice noodle is not how it's traditionally served. And when you ask for the Gum Bean Fun (the real noodle), they charge you extra!!
Lastly, as with most other places, a good bottle of sriracha complimentary can be used. Not here.. instead, they again charge extra or they say you can buy the bottle of the sriracha and serve generic hot sauce you would find in a thai restaurant.
Not worthy of a vietnamese restaurant. With how they serve, you are better of sticking to the traditionally Chinese noodle houses- better value, better tasting, with all that you expect.
