在這個充滿美食探險的城市,每一餐都是一次新的冒險!最近體驗的Restaurant Week巷見午膳套餐,每位$198。 開胃菜:先來說說開胃菜,吞拿魚牛油果他他,口感清爽,吞拿魚給得很多,味道也新鮮。:(主菜:接著是主菜,我選擇了牛扒薯條(需額外加$58港幣)。西冷牛排口感尚可,但稍微有點太油膩,肉質粗了一點、但同時肉味不夠濃鬱,切肉時連筋帶肉一起切,牛扒刀也不給力,感覺不值得此額外支付費用。我點了medium五成熟,廚師也做到。整體勝在份量足夠豐盛,讓牛肉控吃得心滿意足。但是薯條上的鹽分有點過多,整體並不出眾。甜品:甜品是焦糖燉蛋,焦糖的口感脆脆的,質地正常,但缺少香草味道,甜度適中,整體表現一般。整體來說,食物略顯普通,尤其是炸薯條油炸得有點過,使用的油品質不算高。餐廳的通風系統也有待改善,吃完飯後整個人都沾上了油煙味 餐廳位置有點隱蔽,但門面整潔,店內有樹木和綠色植物,搭配燈光和鏡子營造出法式小店的氛圍,有一種小酒館的風格。服務員態度良好,但桌與桌之間的距離有些狹窄。如果你想在晚餐後感到飽足,這是一個不錯的選擇,但並不適合精緻的用餐或浪漫約會了。…Read More

疫情終於放緩,可以外出享受美食了!這天和家人來到W酒店6樓的WOOBAR,加上適逢「春季香港餐廳周 Restaurant Week」,當然要試試特別的午餐套餐 ($198) 吧!《餐前麵包》共有3款,當中一款長條麵包Grissini很美味,麵包表面有少量烘得香脆的開心果仁,與小麥粉香配合得不錯。我選的Starter 《吞拿魚及青瓜他他 Tuna and cucumber tartar with ponzu & roe》吞拿魚味道鮮甜豐腴,但略嫌切得太大塊,厚實實的質感與"魚蓉"相差什遠。縱使如此,值得一讚的是柚子醋加了日本豉油,令味道層次更豐富,清爽沒油膩感;用上兩種魚子 — 三文魚籽及黑魚籽配搭,除令賣相更精美外,亦增添卜卜口感,入口油滑鹹香,味道口感都提升一大層次。另一款Starter 《凱撒沙律Caesar salad》,朋友說這天的沙律菜不新鮮亦不爽脆,菜葉原塊上碟也令人有點進食不方便,有點失望呢。我選了主菜 《油封鴨腿 Duck leg confit with roasted pumpkin, mashed potatoes and berries sauce》另一道令人失望的一道菜!鴨腿外皮煎封得不香脆,鴨肉入口硬實而且頗乾,半點沒有油封鴨肉應有酥軟濕潤的樣子!伴碟配菜烤南瓜及薯蓉則正常發揮,紅莓醬酸酸甜甜,救回一點分數...朋友選了主菜《烤豬肉捲 Roasted pork roulade, with porcini sauce, mashed potatoes & baby carrots》皮不脆、肉太肥 — 豬肉捲整體肥瘦比例失衡,肥膏部分太多,難以入口,皮韌不脆。伴碟配菜和紅莓醬汁則是跟我點的《油封鴨腿》一模一樣,令人覺得沒有心思和誠意,這並非我們想像中五星級酒店餐廳的質素呢☹️最後甜品時間,我選了《加勒比66%黑朱古力及榛子泡芙 Dark chocolate caraibes 66% and hazelnut puff》甜品賣相精美,榛子醬的味道略嫌不夠濃厚,被黑朱古力蓋去了風頭,整體不過不失。另外也選了《時令水果沙律配檸檬雪葩 Seasonal fruit salad with lemon lime sorbet》水果顏色看起來不太新鮮,相信已經切好擺放了好一陣子😅 檸檬雪葩感覺冰涼清爽,也正好可以清清剛才過分油膩的豬肉捲呢!總括而言,這次Restaurant Week的經驗不算太好,期望以後疫情好轉我們可以繼續出街覓食,相聚便是好時光,將來我們再找更好的餐廳吧☺️…Read More

在香港,你永遠不愁吃不到好點心!最近在灣仔發現了這間新開張的新派點心小菜館,主打即叫即蒸的特色精緻點心及各類風味小菜。餐廳設計走年輕化路線,酒樓格局但空間感充足。點心口味亦較一般濃油赤醬的傳統中菜來得更清新一點,少油少鹽感覺較為健康。有別傳統酒樓,這裡的點心可以逐件價錢計算,即使一人前來也可多嘗試幾款不同點心,一口一件,份量剛好!晶瑩蝦餃皇 (每粒$16) — 應該是即叫即蒸的吧,上桌時熱氣騰騰! 蝦餃皇晶瑩剔透,入口餃皮不會過厚,內餡比例適中結實飽滿,蝦肉爽甜兼有少量鮮甜汁液,夾起來皮肉不分家,表現相當不俗呢。韭黃鮮蝦腸粉 ($48),腸粉皮薄爽滑,蝦仁彈牙新鮮,還有一點點韌勁,讓人一吃難忘,腸粉上少量的蟹籽既提鮮也讓點心賣相更美。「一盅兩件」又怎能沒有燒賣呢!蟹皇燒賣 (每粒$16) — 幾乎是每檯客人必食點心,新鮮熱辣鮮黃色的薄皮包裹著融合了鮮蝦和豬肉香味的餡料,搭配在頂端鋪上蒸熟的橘色蟹籽,光是外型就令人食指大動!內餡豬肉蝦膠紮實飽滿,鹹中帶鮮甜,在嘴裡咬開蟹籽更增添爽脆口感。另外我們也叫了其他點心如北菇棉花雞($48)、蠔皇鮮竹卷($38)、香芋蒸排骨 ($38)、香煎蘿蔔糕 ($26)、鴛鴦炒米 ($68)等,埋單每人約$100。在灣仔區尚算價格合理。唯一美中不足是侍應人手不足做到「踢哂腳」,我們亦不好意思叫他們幫忙加添熱茶呢🥺 看看餐牌,原來除了點心,餐廳午市時亦提供多種小菜,一於下次再來試試吧!…Read More

「JEP」即Just Eat Pasta ,就是這樣一家高質素的意大利餐廳🇮🇹 — 作為獲米芝蓮人氣推介的銅鑼灣 Involtini Italian Cuisine 的姊妹店,新店位於屯門,定位價格相對親民,主打傳統及簡單意菜,如手工意粉、千層麵,真是廣大屯門牛牛福音!店舖以黑白色作主調,高樓底上掛了幾盞淡黃色工業風燈泡,予人一種舒適溫暖不失年輕活力的感覺。客人可坐在窗邊,一邊看新界獨有的輕鐵街景,一邊品嚐美食。這天極度幸運,「白撞」之下因臨時有人取消預約,竟然walk-in就可立即入座,後來聽店員說網上預約已排到一月... 😱 午餐共有4款手工製意粉/飯可供選擇,頭盤麵包則提供2款。《酸種麵包 (Sourdough Bread) 及 黑麥麵包 (Dark Rye Bread)》近年香港人對麵包有了新的探索,很多人選擇重投傳統工藝的擁抱,以最簡單的原材料— 天然酵母、古老麥種麵粉和水,加點鹽,用時間炮製出簡單但味道層次複雜的「酸種麵包」。剛上桌烘得熱熱的酸種麵包入口鬆軟,但有著實實在在的嚼勁,那份實在的咀嚼感絕非市面上那些 '放棄了香港人' 的「黑心」麵包可比。而「黑麥麵包」則充滿麥香,兼微微略帶炭烤滋味,風味豐富、口感紮實亦有嚼勁,佐以JEP自家製的意大利黑醋牛油,酸中帶甜、惹味開胃。《手造意大利飲管麵· 傳統洋蔥豬面肉醬汁 Homemade Bucatini All’amatriciana, $88 》這是一道意大利傳統代表料理,起源自如今已被地震摧毀的中部小城Amatrice,更是旅客到羅馬必點的特色菜式之一!主材料豬面頰肉 Guanciale和羊奶芝士Pecorino 都是意大利中部名產。Guanciale 指意式醃製豬肉,用了豬頰肉抹上黑胡椒、百里香等香料醃製數週熟成,味道濃郁深層。煎得又香又脆的Guanciale,濃濃的豬油芬香裹上一層酸甜帶微辣的蕃茄醬汁以後變得超級好吃,羊奶芝士 Pecorino刨成細屑後被意粉的熱力溶化,Pecorino 湧出獨特的誘人羊奶香、配上傳統洋蔥豬面肉醬汁裏裏外外充分包裹著特有嚼勁的中空意大利飲管麵條Bucatini,實在美味得令人難以忘懷!《手造意大利短通麵· 海鮮 Homemade Rigatoni Seafood, $118》朋友點選了手造海鮮意大利短通麵,用上西西里小紅蝦、蜆、魷魚等不同雜錦海鮮。醬汁用上蕃茄海鮮湯煮成,濃中帶鮮,蝦香味濃。而短通麵 Rigatoni  口感厚實Q彈富嚼勁,中空造型與麵上紋理使得麵條表面和空心管壁更容易吸附豐腴醬汁,雜錦海鮮醬汁濃鮮可口。《紅酒燴梨.自製冰糕 Red Wine Pear Semifreddo (+$35)》最後甜品時間! 紅酒燴梨是一道充滿心思的甜點,醉人的酒紅色原隻啤梨,賣相美觀精緻,用上紅酒、砵酒、香料如肉桂和八角做醬汁,慢慢花上兩小時或以上小火熬煮。所有材料的芬芳香氣都滲入梨肉之中,煮過的紅酒酒精亦已完全揮發,只留下香香甜甜的葡萄精華 - 由酸至甜,由甜帶香!伴以冰凍的意大利傳統甜品冰糕 Semifreddo,冰糕口感比一般雪糕更加綿軟絲滑,配上細碎的焦糖堅果,吃罷令人感到幸福滿滿呢。…Read More

以咖啡開始周末.. ☕️ 最近較少外出與朋友聚會,原因你知道的..這天來到元朗,打開黃店地圖,按圖索驥找到了這家小小日系風咖啡店。店內裝潢設計簡約,牆壁是粉藍色的天空、白色可愛的雲朵和一串串的晴天娃娃,感覺清新舒服。靠窗設有一排向街外的座位,適合靜靜的一個人喝杯咖啡休息一下。點了一杯熱的 Cappuccino ($32),特別喜歡所使用的杯子,溫厚光滑的陶瓷杯,保留咖啡的香氣、溫度與口感,重點是我喜愛的顏色💛奶泡打得厚而細密,拉花精美。咖啡溫度適宜,入口香醇,而且順滑細膩,奶香咖啡香融為一體。可惜這天來得不合時,自製蛋糕、曲奇都已售罄.. 看到早餐的menu,心中已盤算著下次要來試試他的早餐!細心的店主貼上元朗區的黃店地圖。同行兒女,繼續努力。…Read More

碼頭旁邊的優雅法式餐廳⛴

這天因工作關係首次踏足長洲 (?!) 到訪前先特意搜尋了長洲的美食,發現餐廳多分佈在碼頭至北帝廟一帶,便選了這間新開的法國餐廳 French Line🇫🇷Set Lunch共有兩款- Quiche及Stew Beef,餐廳設室外和室內坐位,唯外面常有人吸煙,所以便走進了裡面。室內空間呈長條形,牆壁上刻意用上多面圓鏡作為裝飾,除可略為增添空間感外,亦與室外的救生圈裝飾和長洲碼頭相互映襯,可見小店店主的心思Daily Soup - French Tomato Soup 「法式蕃茄濃湯」質感較平日的蕃茄湯更為濃稠,入口每啖充滿了滿滿的夏日花園清新感覺— 湯品用上大量洋蔥、多款香草如羅勒、牛至、百里香等、另外還有紅蘿蔔、蒜末和新鮮茄蓉等,配上烘得酥脆的麵包同享,味道偏酸但酸甜開胃,蕃茄和香草愛好者如我必然喜歡Quiche with salad主菜我選了「法式鹹批 Quiche」,長久以來Quiche一直被視為法國飲食文化中的其中一道經典鄉村佳餚。甫上桌,金黃色的法式鹹批熱騰騰香氣四溢,實在令人垂涎欲滴🤤 店主參照了正宗洛林法式鹹批(Quiche Lorraine)的做法,餡料方面用上煙肉、蘑菇、鮮忌廉、雞蛋、牛奶;批皮薄而輕盈,酥香誘人,盛載著幾乎滿溢的軟嫩內餡,鹹香與蛋奶香交織出獨特的法式魅力,濃淡得宜,比粗獷的肉批來得更清新優雅Creme caramel甜品時間,我選的是「焦糖布甸 Creme caramel」custard入口軟滑、柔嫩又充滿蛋香,還伴有焦糖的甜蜜滋味;不過個人認為如能倒扣出來才上碟,賣相會更佳…Read More

這天到了位於灣仔街市附近一商業大廈的Le Blanc午餐,這裡環境優雅且食物質素不俗,算是在忙碌的工作中偷偷閒、為自己打打氣☺️餐廳裝潢設計走了「復古歐式宮廷風格」,枱與枱之間架設了米啡色的布簾稍作分隔。入座後,侍者會把布簾拉上,原意是為保障私隱,但我認為作用不大— 因為枱與枱之間相距甚近、薄薄的布簾並不隔音,鄰座談話內容其實仍清晰可聽、且「個室」內沒有可呼喚侍者的裝置,要點餐/結帳時有點不便..縱使如此,我對店主悉心設計的室內環境及多種不同的宮廷風小物裝飾仍甚為滿意,室內環境滿分💯是日午餐的餐湯是蘑菇湯— 湯品質感濃稠、菌香濃郁誘人,入口每啖都是美味的幼粒菇菌蓉,令人倍感滿足。值得一提的是配湯的意式拖鞋麵包ciabatta,表面烘得香脆、入口略帶韌度和麥香,沾上蘑菇湯同吃剛好主菜時間,我點的是「Risotto with Organic Chicken with Black Truffle Cream Sauce」較令人失望的是菜式賣相不甚吸引且沒有特色,像極了尋常家中媽媽所煮的雜錦飯.. 但其實菜式味道不俗,飯粒煙韌有咬口、保持著意大利米獨有的甘香滋味,配上菌香濃郁的黑松露忌廉醬汁,入口質感濕潤但粒粒分明,可見廚師時間掌控不錯。而有機雞肉、磨菇、青瓜剛切成小塊,方便入口,唯雞肉略為煮得太老了一點,口感偏硬午餐餐牌…Read More

一直喜歡光顧小店,喜歡小店的快捷、用心製作而且限量供應的美食、小店老闆與熟客的人情味和微妙默契;反觀連鎖式經營的餐廳,雖然多數地理位置較優越、食物卻愈趨公式化,是工廠大量生產的結果這天來到屯門美食集中地新墟,雖已過午餐時間良久,但這家麵家仍人頭湧湧,想起已很久沒有補充過骨膠原🤣就去嘗嘗牛筋撈麵吧點了雙併的「牛筋撈麵併墨丸」($37) 牛筋不是爽彈那種,而是我最愛口感軟糯腍滑的那種,大大加分! 而且牛筋份量超多超瘋狂,幾乎完全覆蓋了撈麵;牛筋炆煮時間明顯充足,柱侯醬炆得十分入味,香濃誘人。幼麵麵質出色,彈性十足,配上腍軟的牛筋造成強烈口感對比在外吃撈麵很容易「中伏」— 原因是往往麵條會帶有鹼水味,苦苦的讓人吃不下。這間店卻沒有這問題,撈麵不但沒有鹼水味、口感乾爽層次分明。配上濃香的牛筋腩汁和蔬菜,更是讓人回味的港式老味道另外還點了限量供應的「新鮮炸魚皮」($18)和很久沒見的支裝可樂($6)庶民美食推介— 人情和方便之間,我們一直可以選擇…Read More

Outback’s set lunch is always on— weekdays, weekends and even on public holidays. This’s one of the many reasons why my family and I go there repeatedly😍As for our big brunch today, to start with, we have an appetiser “Crab and Avocado Stack ($88)” from the a la carte menu. Marinated crab meat and juicy avocado are topped with tomato basil and a drizzle of wasabi vinaigrette. Serving with fried tortilla chips, the shredded mud crab meat is well-seasoned with mayonnaise, parsley and a handful of red onions. The dish is refreshing and lovely.That one thing we could never miss out in Outback is its famous Bushman Bread -- the freshly baked loaf of sweet, dark chocolate-brown honey wheat bread, served on cutting board alongside with the best soft whipped butter. It’s simply one of the most delicious bread in town!For my set lunch, the “Grilled Pork Chop Berkshire ($148)” is always my choice. The beautifully-grilled Canadian pork chop Berkshire is served on a bed of rice pilaf, with mushroom sauce and French beans. The pork chop has fantastic marbling and a significant layer of back fat and the meat oozes with flavorful juices. Moreover, it is a “bone-in” pork chop, the very best extra porky flavour is sealed right there!All set lunch are served with Soup of the Day and Side Salad, which I think just average.While my brother has ordered the other set lunch “Baby Back Pork Ribs ($118)”. Half rack of baby back ribs are glazed with BBQ sauce, served with Aussie Fries and coleslaw. The simple pickled coleslaw is prepared with vinaigrette salad dressing. 最近天氣愈來愈熱,總令人心思思想吃些香辣滋味,好出一身汗🤣 屯門Vcity餐廳選擇不算少,午餐時間一般要稍候片刻,這天我和家人到了Bugis品嘗新加坡/馬拉菜午餐共有十多款,還可加配小食,選擇算是繁多。最值一提的是餐飲已包括了一般餐廳常見的「特飲」如黑糖珍珠豆漿、生薑龍眼茶、羅漢果茶等我點選了「海鮮叻沙套餐」 ($74) 一端上桌時,叻沙香氣濃郁撲鼻,尤其滲滲麵條(油麵+米粉)吸附滿滿湯頭後,吃起來帶濃郁蝦香味,還有各種香料先後迸發而出的香氣、椰漿微微的香甜和香辣鮮味,令人忍不住一口接一口叻沙麵上放滿配料— 新鮮青口、大蝦、白魚蛋、豆卜、滷水蛋等,配搭豐富,最讚的是豆卜將湯頭精華完整吸附進去,吃起來香濃中帶點豆香,濃稠的湯頭與單純的豆香形成一種完美的結合!家人則點選了「新加坡海南雞飯」($72) 雞肉肉質鮮嫩、肥瘦均勻,香氣豐沛,配傳統醬汁甜豉油、薑蓉來吃,風味十足意猶未盡的我們加點了小食「南乳雞翼」($22)一口咬下便知道醃肉時間充足剛好,南乳醬汁醃得入味,雞翼惹味鹹香,還加入了少許糖中和鹹味作平衡,雞皮脆香鹹鮮唯一問題是餐廳座位稍為淺窄,不算坐得舒適,但食物味道很不錯呢😝…Read More

長假期剛開始,尖沙咀廣東道一帶一如以往逼得水泄不通,和朋友找到這間樓上西餐廳,我們還是當天的第一枱人客呢🥰 餐廳麻雀雖小,但裝潢簡約舒適,我們坐近窗邊,在溫暖的陽光照灑之下倍覺舒坦餐牌上選擇不算太多,想點的「廚師精選餐湯」和「柚子蝦沙律」都沒有在供應。最後我們點選了大啡菇、小食拼盆等先上來的是「黑松露薯蓉焗美國有機大啡菇」($88) 大啡菇面層鋪滿了大量水牛芝士碎,焗得色澤金黃芝脆,賣相令人垂涎。黑松露香味四溢,將之加入質感有如牛油般香滑的薯蓉之中,再釀入大啡菇Portobello mushroom 同焗,大啡菇又大又厚身,菌味鮮美香濃之餘,黑松露獨特的魅力亦令人驚嘆呢! 伴碟的沙律菜新鮮爽脆,餐廳頗有誠意接著是「卡邦尼意大利粉」($118) 廚師不吝嗇地用上了大量忌廉、巴馬臣芝士、煙肉等食材烹調。用叉子捲起一個小小的澄黃漩渦,入口柔滑豐盈,醬汁鹹香濃厚且味道豐富,伴隨而至的是濃郁巴馬臣芝士滋味,意粉麵條入口則口感煙韌有嚼勁。惟餐廳可考慮在意粉面上加入 poached egg,除可為賣相加分外,亦可增添多一層濃郁蛋香呢另外我們亦點了Co-DS小食拼盆  (小)($168)除了甜蕃薯條及新鮮沙律菜較可取外,其餘的美式香辣炸雞翼、香脆魚手指、德國腸都較普通,炸粉過厚調味過濃不過如想在尖沙咀想找個寧靜悠閒的地方午餐,這裡倒也是個位置方便之選😆…Read More

Originally today I have booked another restaurant for my company Team lunch but out of nowhere my booking was “forced cancelled” in the very last minute, due to a “private party” there😳 I was left a bit shocked actually, given that restaurant was a quite “classy” one..Be that as it may, I manage to book “Pirates” last table — and very luckily it is large enough for my big team. What a great relief and life-saver! The waitress who received my phone call was so nice that she immediately reserved the very last table and that eased my nerves 😝Today’s lunch menu, inclusive of semi buffet, ranging from $168 to $248At the semi buffet station, only few choices of cold cut, cheese, salad, Spanish omelet, etc were served. For me, the food variety was not enough but frankly speaking, all taste nice and freshAmong them, I particularly enjoyed the aromatic Italian Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, for its hard and granular texture and small cheese crystals, which carries the slight hint of salinity and bitterness. The cheese goes well with Balsamic Vinegar and baguetteWhile for the Main Course, I have chosen the “Pappardelle with Duck Ragù”. The fresh pasta has a beautifully silky yet springy texture and a rich, almost buttery egg-yolk flavour. With its wide strands, the pappardelle lends itself extremely well to the rich duck ragù and the sauces. The dish smells good too as the braised duck, which mixed with aromatic herbs like bay leaf and fresh sage, has got a deep flavor from the Marsala red wine and duck fat. It’s quite a moreish and comforting pasta dish.While my friend has chosen “Linguine Genovese Style”. The pesto is refreshing, traditional, and very basil! The fragrance of raw garlic and pine nuts makes the linguine even more stand-outFinally dessert time! The Panna Cotta is topped with homemade raspberry coulis. The texture is perfectly smooth, creamy, and yet light as a feather. Speckled with vanilla bean and layered with raspberry coulis, this dessert is, on the contrary, not as sweet as I thought. It would be even nicer, however, to top with a little bit of fresh lemon zest, to create a better balance of taste.The place is spacious and comfortable and it would be better if the buffet variety can be increased.
