I'm a sucker for desserts so you know it’s the first section i head to in a buffet. got a plateful of desserts that caught my eye at the lunch buffet 🍨 my favourite local brand XTC offers a whole wheel of flavours to choose from. I got raspberry, pistachio and coconut on a waffle cone, they were super tangy and refreshing, great end to a filling lunch buffet.🍳 my favorite dessert here! there’s a satisfying crack when I dig in to the brulee, the ginger reminds me of the chinese style dessert 薑汁燉奶

🍳[Ginger creme brulee] my favorite dessert here! there’s a satisfying crack when I dig in to the brulee, the ginger reminds me of the chinese style dessert 薑汁燉奶, the spice lightens up the dessert and doesn’t make it too rich. and the great thing about a buffet is- after finishing one i just went and got another one 😆
🍓[Raspberry crumble tart] the crumble was crunchy and buttery, balanced out with the tang of the raspberry syrup
🥯[Cream puffs] the choux was soft and fluffy, piped full of creamy goodness, super satisfying to finish them in a bite
🍰[Tiramisu] not super obvious in the picture but trust me this tiramisu cake had plenty of layers- and together they were everything i like about tiramisu. the combination of chocolate and espresso flavors never lose, impressively light as well☕
if you’re looking for a way to getaway during this coronacation, Hyatt Centric is doing a staycation package for only $960pp which includes one standard room, a breakfast and lunch buffet for 2! considering this lunch buffet alone was already $298pp, the staycation package is a honestly a value option.
